Hello all
My parents got their super visa almost 9 months ago and this visa is valid for 10 years, they went and visit their kids & grand kids already and came back, now they need to renew their passport, their passport are close to expire. if they renew their passport what gone happen to their super visa then?
could you help me please.

If you are in Canada, phone the CIC call centre and ask them this question.

They keep their expired passport with the visas with their new passports.
 
It means they dont need to have that visa in their new passport, as soon as they show their old passport with new one when they want to come to canada again?
but i think for buy a tickets,travel agency and also immigration looking for valid passport. they dont care a bout expired passport.

Just staple the passports together with last page of the New passport and the first page of the expired passport...New passport on the top and the expired passport on the bottom...When they travel again Immigration Officers cross check the new passport for legality and the Canadian Visa on the expired passport...As simple as it is...Good luck
