Super Visa - anyone applied as yet?

Hello,

My mother's application for Super Visa was approved this morning, just got around to posting the message now.

Was a paper application, linked online, no message was sent. But the status says approved and has counterFoil information.

(Upfront Medicals and Passport)

Application Received (Bangalore VO) - 22nd March 2017.
Medicals Passed - 6th April 2017.
Visa Approved - 23rd Mar 2017.
Visa Expiry - 1 day before expiry of passport (29/01/2024)
Processing time - 63 Days (Calendar Days)
Passport still in transit - BlueDart

@Lac @jayeshaminnew : Based on the trend, my guess is you folks should get PPR either tomorrow or day after! (Hoping for the best for you guys!)

@bnb : Glad you got around to linking your mother-in-laws application, sadly I am not sure how you would be able to by pass validation error for you mom's application.

Hello Everyone.
I am planning to apply for the Supervisa for my parents.

I have below question. If anyone applied under same situations please let me know.
My query is regarding the lower income cutoff(LICO) requirement.
I started working from last year July after we moved to Canada in March. So, the income shown in T4 form for 2016 is less than the income requirements(LICO) mentioned in CIC website.

But my Annual salary this year is more and it satisfies income requirements. I can show the proof for the same by showing a letter from my employer and also paystubs for this year.

Can I apply for the parents supervisa in this case? The employer letter and paystubs for this year will be enough as a proof of income requirement?

Hi @Minali,

Welcome to the forum! Generally NOA is considered to be the safest bet and should reflect an amount above LICO, including the number of people in the family + number of people you would like to apply for.

Just to make sure, you have one POA already, but that doesn't show enough income correct? Also are you the only working member or do you have a spouse/common law partner who earns too? (Perhaps that person can sign as a co-signer?)

You can apply using the employer's letter and pay stub + previous years NOA, but if I were you I would make sure I write a compelling letter explaining why the NOA reflects a low income last year and how now you meet the minimum criteria benchmarked by LICO. Also probably include a reason as to why you wouldn't want to wait an entire year to get a new NOA before applying.

The letter should properly address the above scenario, but once you have this letter in your application your chances of getting a super visa are as good as others.

@sindhugururaj : The medicals status should change soon, it generally takes anywhere between 2-3 weeks for medicals to change, in most cases that is.

March 20 to 25 are getting responses now. Mine is april 11th with medical upfront. I am hoping a response by first week of june. They are taking 60 to 64 days as the website estimate say the same.
