1. It is not necessary to show your account balance, but I do not know whether it is helpful (may be someone else can tell). You will need to provide CIC with the info on your income in Canada.

2. The price varies from $2,000 to $4,000 as it depends on the age, chronic or any past sicknesses that your parents might have as well as the total amount of coverage. You may check the prices Super Visa Insurance Quote Calculator.

3. Not sure about the medical exam. But it is done by a certified specialist in your home country. You want to read through CIC Medical Exam Info and learn more.

You can apply with just 1 year NOA. Add other documents like Pay stubs, T4 slips and employment verification letter from your employer mentioning what is your designation, salary etc.

Also add same documents for your husband.

Hey Abhishek,

1. Show funds in your account here in Canada but suggest you to also submit your parents' bank statement to show their ties in India (home country). I did the same, it does not matter how much money they have in their account what matters is money you have in your canadian account.

2. I just got my parents' supervisa insurance done and it cost me around CAD 3000, both my mom and dad are over 60.

3. For getting the medicals done before application submission, simply call the doctor and tell them that your parents want to get the pre-medicals done and ask what documents they need. On the medical day take those to the doctor, at the end of the medicals doctor would give your parents a form which they need to submit with their applications. Remember not to submit the application before a week ends from the date of medicals done. For the list of designated medical practitioners see cic.gc.ca.

Regards,
ASJ

How much time it takes to decision made after receiving the medicals.

Is there a way i can check the status of super visa application on CIC website?

Hey there,

1. You may apply now as your current status in Canada is already PR despite the fact that you have not yet received your card.

2. I would suggest to check out THIS WEBSITE and compare medical insurance quotes from private Canadian insurance companies.

3. The approval rate for regular TRV is significantly lower than for Super Visa. But you still may have good chance of getting it. The most common reason for rejection is weak ties to the home country.

4. You may do so. As someone mentioned, it is a significant supporting document.

5. Same thing applies for your parents. Not necessary though as what matters more is your account statement.
