Yes you can reapply from London in Canada.

You will have to resubmit a new application and yes CIC will require new medicals and proof of insurance.

When you reapply within Canada you will have to send the application to the Calgary Office.

Please respond. Reapply means extend your stay or a new visa which can allow re-entry in Canada ?

I have read this thread in this forum that you can get a new visa for parents within Canada but you have to submit your application at CPP-Ottawa (Paper application) and it takes 2-3 months, and believe Calgary office is for extension only. hope this helps.

Last time I checked the CIC web site the address for super visa applications within Canada is the Calgary office not Ottawa. The time it takes to process applications from my experience is shorter because it is easier to get medicals done in Canada.

Hello,

Has anyone applied here for a super visa and has also been asked to submit an "ARC" or "Authorization to Return to Canada" and has been granted a visa for their parents? I appreciate any feedback!

No way! wow! I posted regarding this before in a separate thread and no one responded because I saw upfront medicals in the guides. Can you please clarify the following and let me know if this was correct in your case:

1- You simply go to any designated doctor and ask for medical for Super Visa. According to the manual they must take you in and make a file for you and give you a paper and file number.
2- You apply for Super-Visa and do bio-metrics next day.
3- Wait and done.

What country did you do yours in? Can you please confirm above steps in that order?

yeah pretty much the same as you mentioned except for the fact that biometrics are not required for Super Visa application's from India....

The designated doctor has to give an emedical information sheet (with an UMI#) sheet which needs to be attached with your application

Thanks for the clarification. Would the form with UMI# upload with online super visa application? or is there somewhere on the application that you will put the UMI#? Also, should the medical be done well before the application is applied for so that the results are in already?

Thanks,

You can quote on the form as well attach a scanned copy. I had a 20 day gap between medicals n paper visa application which proved to be sufficient I believe. .

Hello & Eid mubarib to all

My parents applied for super visa from visa center Lahore 3 weeks ago.Can some one tell me How long its take to get medical request in these days? and how I can check online status through cic website, I donot have any file number etc from Canadian high commission.

Hi,

I applied online super visa application for my father on 27th July . I submitted all documents along with his medical test and all . CIC asked for additional documents which I submitted on 29th July . When I checked the online status , it shows that medical test passed and all documents are provided . I am just wondering how long it will take to take decision on the application .

Does anybody have any experience with the online application process ? Usually how long they take if all documents and medical test is approved !

My father is in New Delhi , and I applied his super visa online from calgary .
