Super Visa - anyone applied as yet?

The timeline for approval after medical depends on the medicals. If CIC is not satisfied that someone is in good health or fit for travel they can delay the application and request additional medical tests. In most cases delays are based on a case by case basis. The only exception is if there is an epidemic in a certain country or region in which case a whole group of people can be delayed and additional testing is required. CIC has an obligation to protect Canadians health from epidemics it is no a bias against any person or group of people.

Just be patient you will get a reply.

In regards to getting the mandatory medical prior to submitting a Super Visa application, I was told by several of my clients that this is now possible to expedite the process. This makes sense if additional testing is required the application process will be faster. Obviously if someone is not fit for travel there is no point in submitting an application and putting your loved ones health at risk. Certain type is medical conditions can be deadly, for example if someone has a heart condition the change in altitude during flight is very dangerous for them. Always consult with your parents or grandparents medical doctor to make sure they are fit for travel and not traveling against the advice of their medical doctor.

my parents submitt their super visa file on 30th may 2014 but they had done their pre-medical. The thing they just forgot the medical in the hospital and just submitt the payment recipt. Now the immigration ask to submitt the medical. We submitt the medical by email on 7th june 2014. I just want to know whats next and their status is showing is being processed.

My mom and dad apply march 19 they got their medical May 2 may 30 visa approve but only my mom stii waiting for my dad my question is is this really happen nauna yung mom Ko, anyway kumuha kami ng 2way ticket kasi yun sinabi nila June 30 ang flight ng mom ko mauna muna siya then yung return niya na kinuha namin is sept this year din ok LNG po ba yun kaya ano po ba ang ti natanong sa POE PAG dating doon thanks po

i want to apply supervisa for my parents
i have question that how much does this medical insurance cost. i am asking it because someone told me it would cost you 8000 $, which is a lot.....
as my dad is 63 and has good health by god grace but my mom has two stone surgery and recently went through knee surgery and has blood pressure problem too and she is 58 right now.

so can someone pls suggest me any roughly idea about medical insurance cost for each applicant?????

It's PG-1, and only given until validity of the passport.
