Applied for my Mother's Super Visa on 22nd of Feb.
Medicals done on 29 Feb.
Passport with visa recd on 14 March.

Mom got a nine year validity based on her passport validity.

Mom arrived last Saturday safe and sound, 2 year stay granted after a 2-hour throughout examination at VIA.

UPDATES!!!!!!

I got a call from Nairobi Embassy asking me to collect the my mothers passport. The lady told me that my mum has been granted the super visa. Will send the courier guy to collect the passport tomorrow and i will get them to friday morning.

Congratulations! Such a joyous moment!

Hello everyone!

I am just starting the process of applying for Super visa for my parents and my in-laws. My husband just became a PR last year after I sponsored him. Do you guys see any issues or any suggestions you can give? We are planning on me applying for my parents, and he applies for his parents at the same time. My husband works in US, and resides in Canada, he doesnt have an Option C yet, so what can he provide? Last year's tax statement and maybe his pay stubs?
Also, do we need to show band statement or just a letter showing the balance? My husband has an account in US, where he gets is pay transfered...

my husband's parents' passport expires in 2014...is it worth applying for supervisa for them? Can we apply for a mutliple entry visa...that may last longer ?

My parents got Super Visa with 9.75 Years validity today on 15th March. Here is my timeline

Medicals Request recvd: feb 6, 2012

medicals done: Feb 22nd, 2012

Passport Req. recvd: March 5, 2012

Passport subtd: March 7th, 2012

Visa recvd: March 15, 2012

Just wanna share my in-laws timeline in Manila:

March 3rd - Documents Picked up by courier
March 13th - Letter for Medical Requisition Received
March 15th - Medical Done


Hopefully, things work out with no hassles and they can join us here with their newest grandson soon.

hi .. they got supervisa with 10 year multiple entry but POE stamp 6 months stay only... she said u can apply for extension...

You will easily get an extension, don't worry bout it.
