Super Visa - anyone applied as yet?

Hi,

I am thinking of applying for super visa to my parents [Father - retired, Mother- homemaker]

We landed in 2015 as PR, we filed 0 tax returns for 2015. Our family income for 2016 meets requirements, should we wait till we file taxes? or Can I go ahead with our offer letters and pay slips?

I would recommend applying with NOA. But since it's not mandatory; you can certainly try without it.

It's better to keep one application package for parents and other for brother. Chances for parents are always high compare to brother.

Unless I'm mistaken, a brother can't be included in the Supervisa application!

that's correct that's why different application is required

Super visa is for parents and grandparents not siblings.

Your brother has to apply trv, you can give him a letter of invitation but he will apply on his own.

I recently completed e-medical test after getting medical request for supervisa. Does anyone Know usually how long does it take to get Passport request. Will they send ppr through email? Please let me know if anyone of you know.

My mom will be applying for super visa. Is marriage certificate mandatory for super visa. Can she show her passport with my father's name and my birth certificate for proof as my mother. Or it is better to get an affidavit, as my mom does not have a marriage certificate.?

Also, my mom does not have her birth certificate, is that ok or she requires to submit affidavit for it?

Depends on VO but if no additonal tests are required it normally took 2 weeks to 4 weeks

Affidavit will work for marriage certificate

Birth certificate is not required for Super Visa as far i know from my experience

Hi All,

I just called one hospital for appointment for my dad super visa Upfront Medical and as per them we can't do upfront medical as it is no more valid from December 15 2016, but when I check CIC website it says it is only applied for spouse visa.

Any suggestions?

I applied to my super-visa for my parents. Today I received passport request only for my mom with updated status of medical "passed" but didn't get a passport request for my dad. Do you know what could be an issue?

Any similar experience from anyone ?
