Super Visa - anyone applied as yet?

Father medical status changed to "Passed" on Feb 6th but no passport request as of now. Do you know how long will they take to send a passport request?

On various pages i have studies that a canadian permanent resident can sponsor his close relative, dependent child, spouse and parents. What about independent child sponsor visa? Can my parents sponsor me to visit or settle in canada. I am independent and married. Kindly guide me. Is their any process so that i make a visit to my parents in Canada?

Hi Hassan

Unfortunately answer is no here. You have to apply in General FSW or other stream and you will get extra 5 points for relatives in Canada.

Wait for one more week it normally takes 10 business days after medical status change to Passed. Patience Man

hi guys,

I applied for my parents supervisa on 3rd Jan 2017. The application was filed online electronically by me from Canada as I am their authorized representative.

They got the request for medicals on 8th Feb and they have scheduled to complete the medicals on 15th Feb 2017 at Bangalore. Typically how much longer will it take to complete the Supervisa application since medical request. I have already booked their tickets from March 23rd from Bangalore to Canada. Hope they receive by then.
Else I will have to file another application for temporary resident visa online. That will not take as long as super visa. Can someone please suggest me timeline for supervisa processing by New Delhi Visa Processing Center. Any help would be much appreciated.

Mine is also 10 days since status changed to medical test "Passed" for my father's supervisa. I don't know why it is so slow pace. My visa office is in New Delhi. Where is your visa office? I have applied it online application.

Mine is Moscow, is there any refusal after medical? Because I couldn't find anything except one case, which refusal was for non submission of additional asked document.

As I am inviting my mom is this from my bank account or my mom's bank account?
If it has to be from my mom's bank account then is it okay if we just open the account and put some money in it as my mom does not have bank account yet.

Maximum they can issue until passport expires. If your passport has expiry date after 10 years they surely issue for 10 years

4 Are you giving someone access to your application? (I am doing it on behalf of my father)
5 In form IM5257, Section- Details of Visit to Canada-Question 2, Indicate how long you plan to stays, what should I mention here?
6 In form IM5257, Section- Details of Visit to Canada-Question 3, Fund available for my stay (CAD)
(A) It should be bank balace of my father account
(B) It should be bank balace of my father account + property valuation
(C) It should be bank balace of my father account + my bank account in Canada
7 Purpose of Travel - Other (Required)
You must submit proof that you are coming to Canada for a temporary visit.
Examples of what you can provide as proof:
A scanned copy of:
Your flight ticket departing Canada,
Your travel itinerary (e.g. places you will visit or stay, such as hotel booking),
Proof of a medical appointment.
What should we upload here?
8 Application Form IM5257 & IMM5645, do we need to sign them if I am applying online?
9 Where should I upload my document like, Notice of Assessment, Salary Slips, Job Letter, PR Card etc? (I believe it should be attached with letter of invitation)
