Looking for expert opinion. VISA office completed my mom's medical assessment but no update on my dad's one. Is it normal?

Below is the timeline of the supervisa applications for my parents:
Application submitted on 26th Dec
Bio metric completed on 02 Jan
Medical completed on 9th Jan
Medical result passed for my Mom on 17th Jan
Medical result for my Dad is pending.

They normally try to find chronic disease which can threat for community e.g. TB / HIV / Hepatitis. Other diseases can't stop visa but medical insurance will go up

If I apply for a supervisa for my mom, and just in case she get refused (knock on wood), is there a possibility that she will be granted a regular visit visa instead?
Or if not, how long after her supervisa application refusal can she apply for a regular visit visa?

If you're applying specifically for a supervise, they will approve or deny you based on that. *knock on wood* everything should be fine hopefully! Worst case scenario, if you have to reapply, as long as there is no exclusions or anything in the denial, you can reapply IMMEDIATELY

I'm trying to apply for supervise fro my mother. My income is below the requirement with few thousands only. We recently had newborn and the family size changed ( family of 4 now + my mother = 5 people)
Is there anyway to boost your income? can you use something else to explain to IRCC that the different isn't that much of amount?

VISA office sent me an email that my Father requires additional medical test. They also said i should be checking the portal for the additional information. Later on i checked the portal but there wasn't any new letter issued to my Father. Does it take time to upload? What should i do in this case?
