Sorry to hear you have lost both parents and you were not able to see them in Canada. I agree the process is hard, lengthy, and unfair. We applied for my in-laws in January 2021 and still have no approval or no request for medicals or anything. I did get an email 2 weeks ago just with a general statement that the application is still pending and due to covid, there are delays. It is almost a year in wait.
Thanks for your kind words. If fees are not a concern, please consider re-applying using the new portal. Might move your file. They are just lazy..years of experience dealing with different kind of applications.

Hi guys.
I am Thinking of re applying for supervisa for my parents in the new portal. Initially applied in July 2021.

My spouse is not working currently, can I still apply under the new portal. During the initial application spouse was employed hence we didn't face any issues and met eligibility

What additional docs required to re apply in the new portal. Thanks guys
I think you should be ok to re-apply. The process is actually a tiny bit easier on the new portal.

Lucky you I’ve been waiting since March 17 2021 and all they said in November 16 was application is flagged for priority processing god know how long that will take
I have been waiting since 25Mar2021 and no update. i reapplied in Oct via new IRCC portal. No update there as well

Urgent Please!! My parents are Indian citizens and have been staying with my brother in UK on visit for almost a year. The plan was to apply super visa as soon as they return to India on December 1st. With all the Omicron variant concern, they cancelled their travel back to India. Can I apply for their visa online while they're still in UK. Is it mandatory that parents should be staying in their Home country while applying for Super Visa?? Has anyone applied when their parent was in foreign country and got their super visa?

They should be applying form India. Applying from a third country, that also being there for a year will show less home ties. You can't say they are in India and apply online because you'll need to give travel history.

Hello everyone,

was seeking an answer to the question regarding the family information(imm5645e) the form that needs to be filled as a part of the super visa application. What needs to be entered as an Applicant?

I am (son of my parents) using my CIC account to fill out their application.

Can someone help me out please?

Bit confused on this one.

Thanks

Like someone said, Super visa application - applicants are parents, not the children. (in my opinion, it should be us applying for our parents) so create a GCKey or IRCC portal account for them and you can fill them all out for them. Make sure you include the use of representative form filled with your details and have them sign it.

Hi All,

Need some help on proving ties of my parents for Parents Supervisa

  • I'm the only child (currently in Canada) and my parents don't have any job (they are in India)
  • They get some rental income from our house but the house is in my name.
  • They don't have any property or land on their name to make their case of strong ties.
  • They have a bank account and it has some $5000 CAD (around 4K CAD was deposited recently).
  • We have some relatives there though

Could you please advise what can i do to prove strong ties

Supervisa ideally your 1 year NOA, pay stub is needed. Parents they dont see much.. go ahead with your details. You can add theirs if there but not mandatory.. visitor visa parents income details are mandatory and their home ties..

Thanks for the answer,
Does it make any difference that the GCKey / IRCC portal should be in their name or I can reuse my own GCKey?

One more question, Under the IMM5645e, Since my dad is the main applicant. In section A, there is a mention of the mother and Father, Are they asking about the applicant (that is my dad's) mother and father?
