For super visa you don't need to show bank accounts only your NOA is the key. When we applied we just updated NOA for both husband and wife and pay stubs. and in the form wrote $5K CAD but no proof of his bank account was submitted.

PS: we did get the super visa approved on Nov 10th or so and his passport is stamped too.

Thanks for response. One more question. What information did you provide under Purpose of Travel - Other in the application. I am a bit confused for that section as well. Any help will be appreciated

You have selected application processed outside canada, thats why you dont see the option. I can see the Option "Temporary resident- Applied online". Thats the right one.

I wrote a letter from father's side very similar to Invitation letter (I mean the story) I am going to spend time with my son and his family. I have not met my grandkids since past so many years. We used to visit on a yearly basis, my daughter lives in so and so country she visits me each her with her family but I haven't got the chance to meet my son after he moved to Canada and Covid hit. I have seen some parts of the country on the videos that my son shares but I would love to see these places in person with them. Also mention that I have no intention of staying longer than 2 years and I will leave the country when the visa expires.

nope no Tickets nor hotel booking..why hotel booking when he is going to stay with us. We did give our home ownership proof along with the invite letter that he will stay with us.
For visitor Visa you will need tickets to show the return.

Hi everyone,

I would appreciate response on my post. I submitted SuperVisa application for mom, below is timeline.

1. Application received: 16 July 2021
2. Biometrics request: 17 July, 2021
3. Biometrics completed: 30 Sep 2021
4. Background check: In process
5. Final decision: In process

Following are my questions: -
1. Will submitting medical results after application submission will help probably to fasten the case or is it allowed?
2. Has anybody received response for passports who applied before or in July 2021?
3. Should I post a query via webform or phone?

Urgent Please!! My parents are Indian citizens and have been staying with my brother in UK on visit for almost a year. The plan was to apply super visa as soon as they return to India on December 1st. With all the Omicron variant concern, they cancelled their travel back to India. Can I apply for their visa online while they're still in UK. Is it mandatory that parents should be staying in their Home country while applying for Super Visa?? Has anyone applied when their parent was in foreign country and got their super visa?

I am (son of my parents) using my CIC account to fill out their application.

Can someone help me out please?

So I applied for my father back in nov 2020 but didn’t receive any result so applied again in nov 2021 and received the refusal today on basis of section 179b so now my father has three visitor visa and two supervisa refusal really don’t know what to do? Im really tired of spending money and putting my parents through this so if you guys have any advice or know any better lawyer in Toronto please let me know

I didn't show any proof of property or utility bill. Just showed his adhar card and retirement document which had his pension details as he was Government employee. I wrote in his purpose of travel that he wants to visit his son's family and spend time with them. Mentioned about Sister visiting him each year. Also int he form where you have to fill details of siblings, that can be shown as ties that he has brother and sisters in India. He is widowed so he would love to spend time with his kids family

Visitor visa refusals are agreed, but why supervisa is rejected. Supervisa did you show your NOA? Salary stubs. Did you meet LICO and still rejected

i dont think you can apply for your parents from your cic account.. if you want to do the application, create a gc key accout with your parents details which you can update from your end.. so it will look as if they are the ones doing the application from their account but it will be you who will be doing it on their behalf.. they will be the applicants.. supervisa has a rule that it has to be applied from outside india by the applicants.. all you are needed to do is give them a formal invitation letter if you are in canada and are inviting them to visit you.
