My study permit application was refused
Thank you for your interest in studying in Canada. After careful review of your study permit application and supporting documentation, I have determined that your application does not meet the requirements of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (IRPA) and Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations (IRPR). I am refusing your application on the following grounds:
• I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on your immigration status.
• I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on your family ties in Canada and in your country of residence.
• I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on the purpose of your visit.
• I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on your current employment situation.
I am being asked to prove I will leave Canada at the end of my stay. I am a Turkish citizen currently living in the United Arab Emirates. I applied for a study permit for an English ESL course to improve my overall English speaking, reading and writing.
- My visa to the UAE was almost expiring when I submitted the study permit application
- I do not have any family in Canada or the UAE. All my family members are currently in Turkey.
- I already have a bachelors degree in programming. I am simply applying to improve my English and the course is 7 months.
- I am currently working remotely for a company in Switzerland.
What can I do at this point to prove I will leave Canada as I am planning to reapply
Thank you.
