I think a correspondence letter usually precedes a decision. What’s your timeline?
Yupp its good news, should be receiving it anytime. Was your application sp extension alone?
Applied for study permit extension+co/op on May 16 2024.
Received additional document request(Enrollment Letter from University) July 16.
Additional document is under review since Aug 20.
Study permit expiring September 30th
When can I expect the extension?
Is there a way I can show an employer I have applied for co-op visa along with study visa?
I have given them everything I have under the portal as well as all the IRCC links on 'maintained status' on IRCC portal.Should that be enough?

Hey, I applied for study permit extension+ restoration of status on 17th may.
I got my biometrics validity letter yesterday on 29 august.
I heard that we get the decision soon after we get our BVL
Anyone else whose timeline is the same and is it true that i am about to get the result?
Receiving a BVL is positive or negative sign?

But the biometric validity letter and correspondence letter are not same?
I thought its the same thing
I mean the final letter that says we have issued you so and so letter, carrying your permit details
I think in most cases, it follows very shortly. So should come within a day or two.
It you applied in may I believe us that applied for a study permit extension in June will soon get a response.
I don't know why they take such lengthy time in extensions as if it's a first time visa
