hello

i am applying for sept 2017 intake.i would be applying for visa by july mid as i am bit delayed due to personal problems.is it advisable to do so or i will be late?

please give your suggestions

If your package is tight, go ahead. It is late, but still doable. To quicken the process, go for upfront medical. Even if you miss the current session, you can always ask for deferral and join with the same study permit. You have to extend it later though. If your profile is not strong enough, you would rather wait, get the deferral and then apply for the next session.

You should be good. Its not too late, as people who are going for their masters and are in the last semester of their bachelors can only submit their documents by mid July. there will be a lot of folks who will apply for Study permit in Late July for Sept intake. Good luck. Just make sure you have a strong case and valid reasons.

I agree. If you have a strong case, then go for it... otherwise it may take longer and you may be late.
