GCMS and ATIP are same.

How long does it take to get the GCMS? I submitted a request last week and only got email temporary request tracking number , but nothing since that

1 - 2 month
if still didn't get. please submit it again. sometime missing.

It sounds GCMS is specific to your application, while ATIP allows for a broader request for information under Canada’s Access to Information and Privacy legislatio´, I actually not sure ,it’s given me by ChatGbt

*Order GCMS Notes for free, follow these steps:* https://atip-aiprp.apps.gc.ca/atip/privacyTerms.do?requestflow=ircc Click above and scroll to where you can click agree and continue From the next page, acknowledge and continue The next page is where u see application/personal information You'd see where to acknowledge and then fill the form accordingly Under "category that best describes you," select "member of the public" You will be asked, "Are you requesting for yourself?" Select yes. If you are outside Canada, select "foreign national outside of Canada." Attach the data page of your passport (compulsory for principal applicant)and / or consent form of dependants (not compulsory). Some information of dependants may be withheld for privacy reasons if you failed to attach duly signed consent form. (Note that this is not compulsory) Your gcms note will likely be sent to the email provided within 30 days. Best of Luck

My representative submitted it for me in January , no response yet

I hope it is not.
2023 / 2024 The processing time improved but since October we can see the delays
Simply if the SUV file target for 2025 is 2000 files, 2000 files / 52 weeks / 5 days = around 8 approved files daily, but till today I did not see newly approved files.

Did you try to call IRCC by phone to follow up or ask about the delay?

Last year I was in Canada in tourist trip, I tried to call but no answer
Three weeks ago I sent a webform as well as GCMS note
But still no answer received
As my medical exam is set to expire in April, I am concerned because I reside in a European country where the cost for a new exam is quite high (700€ per person). I may need to redo the exam in case of any further delays, and this is causing me considerable worry.

DMZ has Priority processing can consider as best choice

I expected that too, but according to the GCMS notes, that’s not the case.
I also didn’t get a response when asking through the web form.

I got my PAL in early October, along with my GCMS notes.

In the latest note, it states:


However, I submitted my application under Canada’s Tech Network (CTN) around mid-2022.

Has anyone encountered this situation before?

I submitted a web form inquiry asking why my application doesn't qualify for priority processing, but I only received an automated response stating that my application is still under review, without any explanation as to why it isn't prioritized.
