Hello,
I got married recently and my wife is sponsor me for permanent residence. She is not disable. She was receiving social assistance on 2017-2018, but she told me and the lawyer that she is not receiving social assistance anymore. We submitted the application recently.
She is working full time earning 36,000 a year. I just found out that she is receiving $733 a month from Toronto employment & Social Service for basic need and shelter.
Does that affect the permanent residency application? Does CIC will deny the application? Please advice, I do not know what to do.
I really appreciate your comments.
Thanks,
Dave
