lets hope it aint gonna be 16+ :-X

Well, by the looks of it, seems like they have picked up the pace. last 3-4 days, I saw 4 PPRs on this forum alone including two male cases in 14months each. Shows some positive response lets hope it goes even faster for the rest of us. I will be hitting my 12 months mark in March for my wife :(

In December it was in que for initial review

I filed my hubbys sponsorship application June 18 2010 CPC-M and on cic website it says ISB started processing his file Aug 30/ 2010...and on the letter it told us '9 months'.

my cousin sponsored his wife, in 2009, Jan 2009 is when he submitted applaictoin to CPC M and his wife rec'd her visa end of OCT and his timing also said 9 months...

there are lot o fthings that cud delay files like missing information, missing signatures, forms filled incorrectly etc etc. also its my understanding that everytihng should be snent in together along with medical and pcc etc etc...cuz otherwise these things could also slow down processing...

lets jus hope for the best, umeed pay duniya qayam hai!

I agree with you 100% back in 2008 early 2009 that was the case, but people who applied mid or late 2009 are still waiting and now it seems like the process is going a little faster once again, so lets hope thing go smooth for everone...

yea i no...but i think every case is different and also depends on how much proof you give them, i think they are a little hard on 'nikah only' cases. and some ppl ahve had very small nikah ceremonies as well...also...missing documentaion, etc etc also add to the time frame...but i dont think anybody is gettin processed in 9 months, but there is quite a few that are getting processed in less then 16..and im thinking those are the strihgt forward...all documentation submitted cases...

well again...we can jus hope for the best lol....

Yes ofcourse, I am talking about those timelines based on a complete and straight forward applications. Applicant applied in late 2009, some of them waited for about 20 months for a simple completed application...
