Currently Isamabad is taking 16 months to process a spousal case. Your process have just entered its 3rd month, don't expect anything any time soon, you have a bit of waiting to do...If you read some of the previous posts, you would notice that applicants from 2009 are still waiting for VISAs so you need to have alot of paitience. And yeah, don't email the embassy too much they keep a record of every email you have sent to them and it could effect the file in a negative way if you send them excessive emails. I dont mean to scare you but this is reality and we are all suffering from it...I applied for my wife in January 2010 and I still havn't heared anything yet...

Ecase is the "client application staus" page on CIC website where you can see the status of your application using either the "client ID" of the sponsor or the "immigration file number" of the sponsored person.

It is always confusing for me 16 months from the date you apply at CPCM or from the Date of AOR.

Hello everyone! this is my first post here on the forum, i was going thru the forum and reading all the related threads and found that i m not the only one waiting for the any reply from CHC-I. Well here is my history with the CHC, my wife is a Canadian citizen we got married in January 2010 here in Pakistan, she went back to Canada to apply for my PR. She submitted my sponsorship application in Feb 2010 and I got the approval letter from Islamabad Embassy on 17 April 2010. Since then I haven't received anything from CHC-I. The approval letter they sent me stated that it would take an average of 9 months to complete the process and i am not suppose to contact them during this time period, but now its been more than 9 months and i am still waiting for their reply! I checked my online application status several times, it says " In Process" and hasn't been changed in 9 months. Now Alhamdulallah Allah has blessed us with a beautiful son we named him Ayaan. He is 4 months old now but unfortunately he is diagnosed with some deficiencies in his brain and head and he is sick. I have not met my son yet and it is becoming very stressful for me day by day to see him like this and do nothing, my wife is also very tensed because of our son's condition as she has to do most of the things by herself. I e-mailed CHC-I a couple of days back and the reply i got was " your file is in Que for initial review".

So i came here so to find out anyway to expedite the process or something to help me out. !! anyone!!

Hareer is March AOR and he rcvd a response from CHC that background checks are over on his application.
