I sent email to Islamabad and got following reply

"Your application is currently in process and is in queue for review by an immigration officer."

What does it mean ? Can I expect something soon ?

Yeah thats a normal generic reply. How long has it been since the file was transfered to Islamabad? Expect rePCC and IMM forms request after about 9months into your process..

Now, it's already 10 Month since my file transfer to Islamabad and 9 Month since I received AOR.( Oct 2010 AOR)

I received AOR in October.After that lambi Khamoshiiiiii....................I sent email in April and CHC-I said it's on initial review and nowI sent another email and they said it's transfer to immigration office.

Now intazar for some good news...

I was sending it through UPS next day service, and so they don't ship to PO Box's...so I went online and found according to CIC website that we can courier it to the address:

If the CIC website says that you can courier the application to the above mentioned address then it must be correct.

Yep every one who applied through Islamabad in mid 2009 and after have to refill them again after about 9-12 Months after file transfer. Thats when they open the file for the first time for initial review and they request PCC again aswell because the original one is expired by then. They request the IMM forms again because they want the current and updated travel/education/work/family history since its been almost a year you applied. Its normal these day to get the request for remedical aswell because the average time is 24months these days and the original medicals expire after 12 months. Hope it helps..

Ok so am i the only one who received the supplementary form along with the AOR? When will they send the background checks form to be refilled then? Along with the remedical?
This is confusing:s Whatever I've read about people who applied at the same time as me, some of them dont even have the AOR's yet :s

i also got my AOR in oct 2010 ans recieved supplementary forms with it....except i didnt even know anout them till this july. My husband listed his canadian address as the mailing address and he in his infinite wisdom thought that we didnt need to submitt the forms because all the information had been on the IMM forms... i have sent them of now but i dont know how much of delay that has caused on my application .
On top of that my husband has been diagnosed with Multiple Seclorosis so i cant even be mad at him for making the mistake
