Spouse sponsorship by out of Canada sponsor

Hello all,

Is there any one who have sponsored their spouses while being with your spouse at your spouse country or somewhere else at a third place?
I am in a similar situation and living in US with my spouse who is not US citizen or permanent resident. I am on a TN work visa and she is my dependent TD visa holder.

If any one have gone through similar situation please share what proofs or demonstration I need for CIC visa office. I have provided them all documents regarding my current status and temporary employment etc.

Please share if any one have any knowledge.

Lots of people have done this but your case is different. You are not eligible to sponsor as you have no intention of returning to Canada after your spouse is granted PR status. This is a mandatory requirement for Family Class sponsorship by a Canadian citizen living outside Canada.

You need to show them that you are going to return to live in Canada once your spouse gets her PR..that's things like lease, offer letters, or letters of friends and family stating that u are going to move in with them temporarily as u first go back etc...

in my case, when CIC wanted my proof of residency, i just moved back to Canada and gave them my offer letter, lease, and bank statement
