Thank you, chilkootcee.
For us it might be better to avoid Abu Dhabi. Looks like cases are dragged over one year here.

That's short compared to some VO's....where is the applicant from in your case?

Here is a summary of the process for ordering GCMS notes (used to be called CAIPS) taken from another thread

If you have just received SA, you should wait at least a couple of months before you order GCMS notes as it takes a bit of time for the file to be transferred and opened. In fact, I would wait three months after SA...but each case is different.

Sarim I think they are only asking for cancellation of the sponsor's visa if they are living overseas...as "encouragement" to get them back to Canada...but I could be wrong. They seem to be concerned that the couple are intending to live in Canada. Which makes sense...no?

Yeah it might be possible but in some cases they requested principle applicant to cancel gulf residency or resignation from employers along with passport. I don't know but it is confusing for me i cant leave my job before visa granted.

I think they don't ask to cancel the UAE residency visa .for more information you can contact vfs office Abu Dhabi .
i have one question at the time of PPR sponsor must be present in the Canada or not ?

I would suggest that you send your passport through VFS (Wafi Mall). That is the preferred method.
I submitted mine and received it back within a week. Their service charge is around 160 AED.
