hi igay dun back down dude stay tall dun gve up everyone here facing tha same situation everyone is apart of there lives and loved once n I know it's really hard to paas thz tym but jenpin is absolutely right that not everyone who applied from abu dhabi is
in thz forum so juz hang in there dun stress even um as same as u I juz got ma esac changed in process no1 knows wat's gonna happen further who know's if u get PPR direct and straight without any change in your esac like jenpin ? Cz jenpin got his PPR first and after 2 days the esac updated in process so keep strengh dun loose hope this forum is all about encouraging each other as a family so dude hope for tha best ....... um really done waiting now can't even take It anymore it's almost above 5 months um aparted frm ma love but beside bearing there's nuthng we can do ...... hope for tha best I really feel lyk befo new year january.... February and march applicants gonna land out in canada INSHALLAH .... so juz have faith in god ..... gud luck

I am happy for you. You will be reunited with your loved one soon. I always checked my ecas but no update yet.it says application received and not yet started for processing. Feel really upset and frustrated. Im the only applicant left for January 2014 don'receive any update for my pprs.

I am thinking of sending email to Advo but I am afraid it might complicate the processing. I dont know what to do.

Hi Igay, application received does not mean that process has not started on your application. as you know that no news is good news, as per my experience they update your status to in process when they already complete most of the process on your application. rest assured you will hear good news soon.

hi my ecas shows decision made on oct 30 but i didnt get my ppr yet. thats why im worried i dont know what does it mean, im thinking if its approved or not

ADVO is so random about ecas status update.

Ecas shows decision made. "A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision." So I guess they will be mailing the passport back to us now. Good luck guys! Thanks alot for your help and support!

sorry for the following questions i know it is silly maybe stupid but actually it is due to my lake of knowledge
I am Egyptian reside in Dubai i waiting my PR visa under the QSW category , after the landing i will marry as i can not marry now because my file was single in the begining , anywya after the landing i will come back to Dubai for marriage and i will stay in Dubai for 2 years , my question is
1-can i do the sponsor fro my wife while i am in Dubai or it must be in Canada ?

Also a quick question for all the people who recieved ppr. Was anyone asked for uae visa cancellation before the pr is issued?

Habibi, there's strong chance that CIC would ask you to cancel your UAE residence before they issue COPR/Visa for Canada hence you need to keep this in your mind.
Btw, you can marry at anytime and simply inform CIC about this and add the name of your wife in your application.

I got a letter that I have to leave the country. I applied from Toronto but I am working in Dubai... no matter from where you apply they will not issue your partner's visa unless you prove you are going back to Canadaa to stay.... there is no way around this.... if they dont believe that you want to stay ,they easily refuse and say apply later....

I am one of them... They need cancellation of UAE residency, resignation letter and other documents that prove I am going back! most likely one way ticket to Toronto.... if they doubt u are not going back, they easily refuse and say apply later....

for the first point , why they will ask to cancel my residence here as i can do the landing and come back it is not mandatory to settle in Canada from the first day as i know you must stay there 2 years during the five years to keep your residence there , did you see case like this before!!!!
for the second point , my application is Quebec skilled worker to add my wife this mean i have to issue for her a new CSQ and this also mean that they will take mine to re evaluate my application again as the pass point is different from the single case to the married case , so there is some risk that i will have to do an interview again , and even there is no interview they will take lot of time to give you the new CSQ maybe 8 months or more it is very complicated to add wife in QSW category
