Hello All,

I'm new to this forum. There seems to be a lot of useful information and so I hope someone can help me with my question

I'm sponsoring my husband and we're both currently living in Dubai. Few days ago his application has finally got approved and the embassy is requesting for my canceled visa, resignation + manager approval plus proof that my end of service has been paid before they can give my husband the PR visa!

I do not want to quit my job especially since we don't plan to move to Canada now (but after one year).

Is there anyway we can get the PR visa without me having to quit my job? Did anyone manage to get their PR without resigning? And how was this done?

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated as we do not want to lose this opportunity.

Thank god I got a reply from Embassy and they are requesting my husband's passport...

Thanx alot for ur courage guyz ......... I didn't got any email yet juz esac changed to in process it's written that they have started processing my application on 26 october ....... really can't wait for tha ppr ..... can anyone plz gve an idea how long will take for tha PPR nw ? :-[

Hopefully, it would not be as late as others ( including me ) have experienced. It seems that ppl who have done their Medicals till March 2014 are getting PPR's. I have a gut feeling that most of the pending cases would be completed by Christmas this year.

Hope that too....my fellow applicant also got the PPR..i applied on 1st april 2014 too...Hope it ends soon on a good note for all of us InshaAllah
