for the first point , why they will ask to cancel my residence here as i can do the landing and come back it is not mandatory to settle in Canada from the first day as i know you must stay there 2 years during the five years to keep your residence there , did you see case like this before!!!!
for the second point , my application is Quebec skilled worker to add my wife this mean i have to issue for her a new CSQ and this also mean that they will take mine to re evaluate my application again as the pass point is different from the single case to the married case , so there is some risk that i will have to do an interview again , and even there is no interview they will take lot of time to give you the new CSQ maybe 8 months or more it is very complicated to add wife in QSW category

in the case of Spouse Sponsorship they ask the sponsor to go back to Canada.... not the applicant.
but skilled worker is different...

Yes they asked to cancel it and give proof of final exit which we did the very next day. So now I have given them a one way ticket proof along with ofcourse the final exit. Which is why I think the ecas today showed decision made, cuz we gave the proofs and they hopefully stamped his passport and itll be on its way back!!

Thirdly after canceling tha iqama tha government of u.a.e gves a short tym period of 1 month to leave tha country above 30 days u will b charged a fine as per day ........ so wat if ADVO sent back our passport after and above 30 days ? Dear Muhammad Azaan, in Abu Dhabi there is no Iqama what I know. Here, we have company sponsor visa (Residency Visa). Did you receive any Residency Questionnaire form from ADVO?

As everyone knows we were requested to do redo police and re medicals.

We did medicals and police check in March 2013 and sent application in Nov 2013. They are now expired Abu Dhabi has received the police certificate today and we did the medicals 2-3 weeks ago.

Can someone help me interpret the website above, I think it just means that medical needs to be valid in order to land and the final decision is after medicals and police certificate are done, am I correct? Please help thank you!

Well iqama cancellation is for KSA ppl..and it depends from case to case...cancellation is upon request of ADVO...sometimes they dont ask the sponsor to cancel it..but sometimes they do....well for UAE ppl they ask for contract cancellation, residency cancellation or quitting the job...that again depends on case to case..some ppl are asked and some arnt asked for it...i hope that answers the query..they just wanna make sure that ppl who are getting the immigration dont return to earn petro dollars..again Mostly cancellation they ask for sponsor only if sponsor is residing outside canada

Well even if they have to ask, they usually ask along with passport request..lets just hope they never ask for any cancellation or anything such Goodluck friend pray for all of us that wait for us ends soon too

hi zzw , can i sponsor my wife while i am staying in Dubai and when they ask for the passports it is okay if they want to cancel the residence , i mean in this time we will be ready to move to Canada , but my question about when i submit the sponsorship application , can i do it from outside Canada

Yes u can always sponsor ur wife living outside canada ONLY if u are holding a passport urself..if u are on PR then u need to sponsor her while living inside canada...PR holders cant apply spousal sponsorship outland....
If u have already submitted ur application INLAND i.e inside canada. ..then ur spouse needs to be sponsored from canada ONLY but if u have applied OUTLAND i.e outside canada...then u can asponsor ur spouse living outside canada...i hope i made myself clear

i will just have the PR soon , so i have to sponsor her while i am in Canada , but the processing time can be 18 months . that why i was asking it is very annoying to leave your wife and son for 18 month
,i guess they will not allow for visit visa during the processing time
