nothing since then, no doc request either

I also received my AOR on September 20th 2012 from Mississauga but no Acknowledgement from Abu Dhabi as of yet.

Hope its coming soon....


My status also says Medical results received and we received your application on August 10th,,,,, nothing has changed.

Have you tried to confirm the visa office via email? because that's what I did 6 days ago. I have sent them an email using the letter provided by the abu dhabi website. Just complete the needed information they are asking to activate your email address. Then after that I received 3 emails from them. They confirmed from the first letter that they have my papers already but still not processing. then the 2nd letter was for the required documents that I have to submit within 45 days. the third one is the acknowledgment receipt for my inquiry.

I just sent them an inquiry via e-mail by filling up the online form. I hope they get back to me soon.

Guys note that they have mentioned that they don't reply back in most cases if its within the processing time and since most of you have applied within last few months I doubt they will reply you.

Any update from Abu dhabi applicants? For me the Ecas is still the same. I submitted the required documents last Nov. 25 and need to wait for another 1 or 2 months. Unfortunately, I have this situation and I am asking for ideas and suggestions:
- My contract will end by next year, my employer is offering another contract but I have to stay for another 2 years.
- Another option is to leave ksa and stay in Philippines unemployed, while waiting for my application in Canada.
- Or I can sign for another contract and once the visa arrives, I'll take a vacation and go directly to Canada without formal resignation

If I change my address to Philippines, are they still going to continue processing my application in Abu dhabi? What if they require an interview, could I be interviewed in the Philippines? Is there anyone who is on the same situation? I've sent an inquiry to VO for over a month ago but still no reply regarding my querries. Thanks in advance!

I'm in almost the exact same situation as you. My husband is switching jobs in Dubai and is going through the cancellation process before he can
join his new company and I want Abu dhabi to continue processing his application.... He will be joining the new company in January in Dubai...

Would this have any negative effect on our file?

Hi,

I am new to this forum. I noticed this forum is very helpful to us who are waiting for the results of applications. At least I kinda have an idea as to what stage applicants are at and other developments for each day. Just wanted to share our timeline:

Application received: July 16, 2012
AOR (CIC-Missisauga): August 17, 2012
Sponsorship Approval: August 21, 2012
File Transfer to Abu Dhabi VO: August 21, 2012

We sent an inquiry to this VO last November 7/12 to verify if they received our application. VO replied November 15/12 and said they have our application but still on queue awaiting initial review. Since then on, no other response or requests for additional docs from the VO.

I am just hoping there will be some progress before the end of this year... crosing my fingers...
