Spouse sponsorship Abu Dhabi office

Hi my ecas just updated my status to "in process"..Our application was submitted/receive on Nov. 26 2012, and sponsorship was approved on December 27 2012 and was forwarded later on to abu dabhi visa office. We did not have AOR yet drom abu dabhi but since its updated on ecas that its under process the application is surely with them now.

My question is which come first usually the ecas updated "in process" or document request? Or we will receive document request soon?

They sent me letter on Nov 7 ur file is transfer in visa office Abu Dhabi and they received on Nov 25 after that I received another email on Feb 06, ur file is in in process submit document request police clearance & some question from me & my spouse. But still waiting for mail because they said we will send you request letter in ur mail, ecas is still same "application received" this my story everyone is different lol

Hi guys, my husband was asked to come in for an interview on April 16th,,,,,,, I have no idea what to expect... they didn't ask him to bring in any
documents accept for his passport and the interview request form...

Any ideas as to what kind of questions he might have??

Hi everyone just like to ask another question. On ecas my address is showing like (e.g.) "abha road 7762, Doha Qatar"....wherein 7762 is the PO box number...The normal format should be "P.O. Box 7762,abha road, Doha Qatar". On ecas as shown, the "P.O. Box" si not shown only the number, im afraid it might be mistaken as normal number for bldgs./houses. on my application I have submitted the correct format..

How is your address shown in your ecas?

Mabroook munchkin... After the interview he will get the visa ... they r going to ask him about some personal issues like how u know her and whats her birthday and all the details about you... if the immigration officer feel comfortable about the relation,, they will ask immediately about his passport to issue the VISA,,, so congratulation in ADVANCE my friend...

They will ask same application form questions tell ur husband to review all applied form make sure all the dates and how you guys introduced each other should be same. Don't worry take all important document and passport with him some times they ask you have your passport with you ? So in that case carry your passport.

I am previously divorced and I got married after about 1 month after my divorce though I was separated for more than year before my divorce...
I really dont know what to expect and so worried...

Yes we are both Muslims (Sunni Muslims) Alhumdulillah by the grace of Allah ... and we are both actually cousins

He is my mothers sisters son..

you remarried after one month of your divorce? do u know muslim women have to wait 40 days after divorce doesn't matter you separate before divorce year or so on they will ask ur husband this question for sure

We have provided them a lot of proof, and also they didn't ask my husband to even bring anything with him accept for passport and interview letter...
im thinking maybe they just need to verify that info,, also could you please tell me was your friend asked to bring any information with him such as more proof of relationship...

first time when he rejected they asked him to bring your passport and when they start asking question he made so many mistake they met before and he said no in interview just stupid mistake. Second time they both received interview letter and both came up different answer and this time she wait 2 years and she appeal from toronto now they ask for police certificate hopefully he can get visa this time my friend have one daughter and new born son now but husband is stuck in Pakistan.

yes I believe it is called Idda or something in Islam,., my divorce was finalized in February 27th 2012 when it took into effect.. and I married April 6th 2012,, which is about 40 days or maybe even more, when I counted it, its about 43 days... my circumstances for divorce were that i was domestically abused by my previous husband and because of his violent behavior, I separated from him in September 2010 , and I filed divorce in November 2011 I believe.... since May 2011 I never heard from my husband ever again..... and according in Islam and religiously if I am separated with the intention of never returning to my husband and which I did not have any intention for at least 3 months, it was automatically a valid "talaq".
So we can I guess explain this all to the visa officers.... But thanks so much for letting me know about that 40 days rule,, I will make sure that we do explain it if asked my the immigration officer...

InshAllah they will be together soon.....It's really sad when children are involved, cuz of course their life is being effected as well... My husband is also a Pakistani and we are cousins,, he is living and working in Dubai.. even though they did not ask him to bring anything to the interview, i am still going to tell my husband to bring our wedding album which is extremely huge, but what can we do,, and also to bring more proofs with him....
