I was just wondering what the reason was for the first time of refusal?

yes mm back pervious reason was that my.husabnd is not in canda but we gav enough proves to show he is and we solved it without going to.court in was solved on riten submition

Just few questions:
So did you submit your file around June 2012?
How did you know that VO started processing your paper in September?
Does your ecas status ever changed?
When was your file transfered to Abu Dhabi?

This will be our basis somehow to guess where are they in our application because we haven't heard any...im hoping that this is the start of good news for all of us...

yes as per ecase all I rote my file was sent to abudhabi on june 12 and they recived july 18

Based on your response, it shows that transfering of files from Mississauga to Abu dhabi takes more than 1 month. So our files were probably received by Abu Dhabi around September 2012 as it was transfered August per Sponsorship approval that we received from Mississauga. We're just guessing because we didn't get any AOR from Abu Dhabi.

Snowman that's a long wait since you didn't even receive AOR!! Did your spouse tried contacting the embassy or the Canadian VO place where the sponsor gets approved to know what's the status?

Yes, we did send an email around Oct2012 to know the status. Abu Dhabi replied Nov2012 and advised us that they have our application but still on queue for initial review. We emailed them again last January 5, 2013 and they just replied today. They said the same thing, very exact words they said in the first email. Just wondering, it looks like it's their standard response. However, they added a sentence in the last portion of the email saying "Please expect to receive an email from us with list of required documents in the coming weeks." I don't know what this means. I don't know if they really had opened our files yet or not and if we have missing docs.

It looks like they will ask you for additional documents very soon! Did you check online? What's you status there and of the sponsor?

Hi Ebsoom,

Hopefully once they review all your documents and security checks are done you should get a passport request or atleast that's what happened in my case!

I can't say how long it takes but each case differs. Mine took almost 3 months after I submitted them the additional documents before they asked me for passport request!
