Sabi ko i told my wife, after spending 4 years there, prepare to come home if things do not turn-out as expected. And seems my working abroad has become more of a liability rather than asset. Within a month lng yata (di ko mkita timeline from here) dumating na yung PPR.

Pero di ko kinagat yun knowing na it is a self-serving document. At clearance ang hinihingi nila nde affidavit - baka magalit at makasama. Let it come from them at yun nga ang nangyari. You know, my affidavit was only one sentence.

we are waiting for the landing interview. sa cue, sept 30 pa daw action sa finalization. hopefully middle of october may PR na. Pag inabot pa to ng november, malamang sa hinde, remed at nbi, plus renewal of OWP. ang hirap talaga maging pilipino!

Hi, just wondering as i read your timeline.

Natumbok mo nester. Mahirap maging galing sa developing country like the Philippines when it comes to immigration. Plus it is depressing not to be able to make an inquiry kasi nga may normal processing times na tinatawag. :-)

yung LC1 ko po ang "sis" hehe

LCP po ay yun yung live-in-caregiver program. Pagsubmit ng application, create po sila ng LC1 file para sa sponsor (who in this case is not yet a PR) Pag nagqualify na po ang sponsor, they will inform CEM, thereby creating file LC2 for the sponsored person/s. Files will again transfer to CPCvegreville for finalization. Pag complete na, files will be turned over to the CIC where LC1 is located, for the landing interview/notice and RPRF. Right then and there, landed na sya then CEM will be advised to issue the visa to LC2.

hi sis aileenruss..hmm i dont have plans of calling CEM to follow up..kasi sabi nila it is not necessary coz the call centre agents do not know the processing times ..and sabi naman din ng iba...nirerecord din nila ung bawat tawag..so bka mapiss off sila at inde nila iprocess agad ung papers..heheh......:) ang case naman sa amin..medyo nadelay din kasi may follow up kaming oversease police clearance na nisbmit namin nung july 15..so till now wala pang update..even sa ecas..pero just last thurs.nawala ung address namin..so sana may magandang sign un diba..:)

@mariposa

ngayon kulang nakita yung tanung mo tungkol sa caips...eto CAIPS is an acronym for Computer Assisted Immigration Processing System. It is the computer system used by Citizenship and Immigration Canada for application processing outside Canada. Information is entered in the system from application forms and supporting documentation submitted by applicants for immigrant and visitor visas, returning residence permits and student and employment authorizations.
Even if you recently submitted your Immigration application, the CAIPS file will have useful information. After you receive an AOR the CAIPS file is updated with a preliminary points assessment. You can use this points assessment to verify that the visa office is interpreting your application in the way that you had intended. If, for instance, the visa office has computed your points score differently, then you have an opportunity to provide more documentation BEFORE it is assessed. Once the file is assessed you might have to wait 12-15 months to correct any misunderstandings. The CAIPS file will also have an indication as to when the formal assessment will occur - known as the bring forward date

Hi Nice2010.. is there an information in CAIPS that somehow provides a hint if the PR is approve or reject? ;)

@ raniloc

nothing,but i think its more on lacking docs that they need us to provide.......may last statement sa caips ko nilagay nila closer to review dated august 4 nag in process ako august 18.
