may question pala ako sa mga nakakuha ng caips for 5cads lang baka po pwede makahingi ng link, kasi mga nakikita namin ni hubby eh 29-45cads.. ang alam ko si sis nice nakakuha nag-pm ako sa kanya kaya lang di pa ata ulit nago-online.. baka meron sa inyo may alam pls help po.. thanks in advance,, ;D

How to order your immigration file notes

There are two ways to obtain FOSS or CAIPS notes.
If you are physically in Canada, you can obtain them for free under the Privacy Act.
If you are overseas, someone else (a Citizen, Permanent Resident, or someone physically present in Canada) will have to obtain them for you under the Access to Information Act. This can be a relative, friend or sponsor, or a commercial service. For this there is a $5 fee (more if you use a commercial service), and you will have to provide consent. Forms for this are available on the Citizenship and Immigration Canada website.
Payment can be made by credit card. (2011)
Completing the Access to Information and Personal Information Request Form

Choose "Receive copies of the records"
For applications being processed overseas, choose "CAIPS (information abroad)".
For applications being processed in Canada, choose "FOSS (information in Canada)". (Normally, it is not recommended to order "IN CANADA FILE (FOSS included)" since this requires that the paper file is taken out of storage and may affect processing times. The FOSS notes alone are usually sufficient.)
The "Requester's reference no." can be left blank - that is used by representatives who are ordering FOSS notes for clients, who may have their own reference number for the file in question.

naku sana nga! Pabirthday nlng sana ng CEM sa wife ko kahit DM, hindi man kami mgkasa mgiging masaya na kung ma-DM..

I havent opened it yet kasi I want us to take a look at it together. Im a bit anxious but I really hope and pray that the email will say that my hubby was approved to be my sponsor.

Unless a prospected sponsor has a criminal record,on social assistance ( welfare) and/or have declared bankruptcy....you have nothing to worry about. CIC wants families to be together....and in this vision,husbands and wives too,of course.

Hi TigerLily! Thank you. I was wondering what username will I use when I registered on this forum and that was what was in my heart so I used it even if it is too long. Im sure all of us wants to be with our hubbies and loved ones soon. Anyways, he has no criminal record and is not on social welfare so I really hope you are correct. I cant wait for him to wake up and check his email. But I will really try to be patient for now.
