i got married din sa canada hiningan din ako ng marriage cert pero wala nakalagay na NSO nakalagay lang marriage cert bago kase dumating ung aor alam ko na hihingan nila ko ulit kahit nakapag pass na ko so nag request ako ng marriage cert yung long ha sa canada mga 20cad un tapos 10 to 15days ata pero pag rush mga 30cad naman 7days un na lang gawin mo punta ka sa site try ko hanapin later then order ka dun tapos un na lang pass mo sa embassy.

and never ako nag pa register sa nso kase ikakasal naman kame sa manila soon so ayun lang

ano ba ung marriage cert na binigay mo ung maliit? ung naka sign ka and ung husband mo plus witness? ako kase sinama ko din ung sa marriage cert na long inantay ko kase maregister sa toronto bago ako mag pass eh.

yup we submitted din yung long po that we requested from the regitry ng canada.

when i got my AOR they requested for the following..

1. completed appendix A
2. passport red
3. advisory on marriage from the NSO

do i just submit another CENOMAR from NSO? since wala naman record ng marriage namin sa philippines?

Hi meron akong question about the advisory on marriage. I got married in Toronto, Canada we submitted the original Marriage Certificate kasama nung original application and now humihingi sila ng advisory on marriage. nagsubmit na rin ako ng CENOMAR before galing sa NSO.

marami ako nababasa na kailangan i-register yung canadian marriage sa philippine NSO? required ba gawin ito? Or ok lang na magsubmit ako ulit ng CENOMAR from NSO?

Yes you are required, so that the marriage would be registered at NSO and recognized in the Philippines. They also require this report if you apply to amend your name in your passport to reflect your married name. That is why CEM is requesting for this Advisory of Marriage.

If you are on same sex and got married in Canada you don't have to report your marriage because this is not legal in the Philippines.

I agree...kinasal kme ng partner ko sa alberta,canada.dumating na ung AOR nya, ang hinihingi lang ay Appendix A, Passport and CENOMAR. ung CENOMAR kasi hindi namin naisama nung pagsubmit ng application package nmin.. kaya expected na namin na hihingi sila kaya pagdating ng AOR nakaready na ung CENOMAR from NSO. pero ang case kc namin ay same sex kame kaya cguro hindi kme hiningan ng advisory of marriage kc hindi legal ang kasal namin sa pilipinas,hnd gaya ng sa inyo both countries ay legal ang kasal nyo and isa pa filipino citizen ka kya dpat my record din ang NSO ng kasal nyo para ma-recognized sa philippines.

currently po, nasa middle east po ako for work. ngfile po kami ng application last february, and recently nakatanggap po ako ng passport request from the embassy. bibigay ko nalang po sana ung original passport habang andito ako for work, kaya lang renewal po ako ng visa this coming month. so, in other words, kailangan ko na pong mgresign from work, kaya lang i still have to serve 1 month notice period for cancellation of visa/company clearances...

tanong ko lang po sana:

1. pag po ba ngpassport request, ibig sabhin for visa stamping? i mean will there still be a chance na madeny ka?
2. paano po humingi ng extension from canadian embassy for the 45-day deadline?

NO dun pa lang magstart yung ung pag process ng application mo. / if may chance ma-deny YES kung ka duda duda ung application mo. they will invite you for an interview if they are not satisfied sa documents mo and you have to prove na genuine ung realationship niyo sa interview (hindi sila basta basta mag dedeny ng walang interview.)
