It could mean they issued your visa already. The issue date of my husband's visa is the same date ecas went DM.

3 business days later. I think your ecas might have DMed on a friday though because I also checked mine on a Sunday just last week (oct.16 when I thought it went DM). But I don't think govt offices are open during the weekend. They sent an email that it's ready for pick-up Oct.19. My husband went to get it the same day. The issued date of the visa is Oct. 14 (Friday). If yours is the same as mine you'll probably get an email this Wednesday. 8) exciting isn't it? Congrats!

Is this spousal sponsorship? Why did it take so long po?

Its probably because i didnt had an upfront medical before lodging the papers

I'm taking the liberty of posting here and encouraging all future applicants to have their Medical Exam at IOM.

Ang dami po kasing unnecessary additional exams and costs sa St.Luke's, especially in Ermita.

Kaya sa IOM na lang po kayo if keri ninyo.

Agree sis. Mas advice ko din mag IOM kesa sa St.Luke's.

Nag search sa net husband ko bago sya nagpili ng pamedicalan. He found lots of problems and complaints for St.Luke's but I'm not saying it would happen to everyone. Anyways, my husband chose not to risk it kaya IOM ang pinili nya..

Experience from IOM was great for him. There was a problem sa result nya sa lungs. Some cloudy spots ang na detect and the dr assured him na there's nothing to worry about kase "normal" na daw to sa mga pinoy. Wala na ibang test na pinagawa. This is ofcourse probably kase wala naman din syang bisyo. So, di ko naman ni lalahat din sa IOM. (Makes you kind of wonder how bad the pollution is).

However, if you can guys, then go to IOM. I can't remember lahat ng cons sa St.Luke's pero ang dame kase kame nahanap nun talaga.

Here's the only needed medical exams that will appear in the piece of paper with UMIXXXX:

707 HIV test
502 Chest Xray Examination
712 Syphilis Test(VDRL or RPR)
501 Medical Exam

Medical Exam-> Physical Exam and History checking of illness

I confirmed this here in Doha, and told me that they wont give me vaccine as this is not part of their submission to CIC. (we all know here,if it's not needed, we don't exert too much effort, as they say in arabic: kaliwali (never mind))

Ask ko lang po sana yung mga nakareceive na po ng PPR regarding sa my CIC account status, kapag po yung Review of Eligibility and Background Check ay In Process na, gano po katagal bago niyo nareceive yung PPR? I think depende siya sa VO at iba iba ang time frames, pero gusto ko lang po malaman based sa experiences ninyo just to have a rough idea.

Just recently linked my paper application to MyCIC. For the longest time kasi application not found parati lumalabas, eventually I found a thread with a fix and it worked! Downside is that I don't know exactly which date the Background Check became "in process".
