salamat po. but problem po is hindi normally allowed long leaves sa work.
anyone who has experienced this dilemma? did anyone dare to ask CIC for extesion of visa validity?
mas important po ang visa/pr but i dont want to leave bad records po here in PH. salamat po.

Mayforever, I don't have any clue whatsoever your situation at this moment and from what i understand you have to make a really tough choice. Firstly, unless you really have a concrete case to support your request for extention, they won't grant you that. Upon saying that, not unless you want to go back to Philippines and look for work in the future, you don't have to worry about getting an exemplary record of employment because that employment record is almost irrelevant here. Kasi ang tinitingnan ng mga employer dito ay kung may Canadian training ka, and that would be my second advice sa mga darating ditong new immigrants...DON'T HESITATE TO GET CANADIAN TRAINING to be more competitive finding work. Not unless okay lang sa inyong magpunas ng mesa sa food court sa mall, dapat mag-aral para hindi apihin ng ibang lahi.

Para sa mga darating dito, you won't regret it...malungkot sa simula pero masasanay rin kayo. Lahat maganda especially ang education at health care system. SALAMAT PO!

I took my medical last Oct. 5 as requested in the email. Unfortunately, I was advised to take a sputum test this coming OCT 23 to 25. Boooo! May nakita daw kasing "cloud" sa lungs ko. Anyway, fine. Question is, should I email Manila Immigration Office about it since they are only giving me 30 days to complete my medical? TIA for the replies

My husband was asked to retake his medical examination because his results were past the validity. And were given 30days to comply. He immediately took it and we are wondering how long will it take for his visa to be processed?TIA

Question lang po... kung me naencounter na kayo ganito case. Kasi this is our timeline:

Application Received: June 20
AOR 1: July 6
SA: August 12
AOR 2: August 26

After AOR2, 2 updates na un nakita ko sa eCAS and MyCIC

eCAS- Started processing your application on September 20
MyCIC- Background check turned into In Progress last October 15 (I don't know the exact moment kung kelan nagchange, naglog in kasi ako then un nakita ko un change. Then an hour later, me email ako nareceive na updated status nga.

I currently have TRV and in Canada. Twice na ko bumalik dito, pero outland application. First was when I submitted our application last June then umuwi ako Pinas ng July. Then end ng September bumalik ako dito Canada.

Medyo mabilis sa usual timeline so nagulat ako. It's nice in a way na lagi me update, pero per previous discussions, usually pag in progress na background check, me PPR na next. So medyo OA ako ngayon everyday mgcheck ng status, pero di ko alam if me inaasahan nga ba ko update. So I'm curious lng sa mga members if me alam kayo na ganito situation.

sino nakaranas ng ppr na 2 email from manilimmigration at personal emai at work ng officer?tapos nirecall ?kaloka ang stress ko lol.ang nirecall pala ung ppr from her email at sinabi pa ung full name hehe.ayun search ko may instagram at ang ganda ng officer na nagbigay ng ppr ko haha.i emailed her back on her email at work then nagreply at sinend uli ung ppr from manilimmigration na.from the start alam ko na nirecall nya ung ppr from her email kaso nagmake sure lang ako kung ppr talaga ta hindi nya nirerecall lol
