yung iba hirap ilink for an unknown reason

Medyo nahirapan din ako maglink sa mycic nung una, tricky kasi yung question na number of applicants, dapat pala sponsored spouse (principal applicant) plus the sponsor.

I hope this helps sa mga nahihirapang maglink sa mycic.

Ask lang po, pag magpapass ba through email may specified subject ba? Or kahit last name lang? Wala po kasi nakalagay.. Just wondering kung may format din. thanks in advance! ;)

Always indicate application number as your subject

SPOUSE sponsorship timeline

Hi. I'm Japanese citizen and currently living in the US with my Canadian husband (he will be my sponsor).

Does anyone know how long would it take to process applications?
How long in advance should my husband start preparing for applications?

Thanks!

Have you checked on printer properties settings?

Also try viewing the email on your phone, if it is okay, may prob settings mo lang. Try what I suggested, forward it to a Gmail account.

It doesn't take that long for you to gather everything as long as you have all the required docs in handy.

I assume you are not a US Citizen nor PR, basing it just from the fact you did not mention it, one requirement would be the FBI Clearance, that alone takes 8-16 weeks to get for non-US Citizens or PR. Just in case you are a citizen or PR, you can get it thru an approved channeler.

Thank you so much for responding to my question!
I have L2 (spouse visa) in the US and I moved to the US 2 months ago.
You have also mentioned that I have to get a police clearance from all the countries I've visited. I lived in Australia for 3 years as a student. Does that mean I have to get one from Australia too? (I was not married to my husband at the time...)

It was my understanding that you only need a background check from a country if you stayed longer than six months. Has this changed?

I'm a Canadian sponsoring my Korean common law spouse. As for a timeline, it looks like Manila applicants from April are getting their ppr right now.

It has not changed yet. But it is upon the officer's discretion to ask for one if they deem it necessary whether you have stayed for just under 6 months. But if it was a week or so, say a trip overseas, you're fine.

You can read more on http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/security/police-cert/intro.asp.

That's good to know. My partner travelled in America for three months. Perhaps it might be a good idea to be pro-active and request a crc now...

thank you for those who will answer my question.since nobody answer me on the other forum ,i just want to ask whoever got their ppr ,when you use courier to send your passport and payment, did you also send a vfs /vac consent form?thank u
