Hello! I just want to ask if I can have my PR approved even if my daughter will not yet come? I have applied for both our PR. But Im just worried I couldnt look after her as I am planning to work and go to school again. She already did her medical examination. Your reply would be really appreciated. Thank you!

If your daughter is accompanying you, yes, @raecy is correct about issuance of visa once approved. If she is non-accompanying, only you will get the visa once your PR is approved. Remember though that if she is accompanying you but you won't take her with you, your daughter will have to go through back to step one of sponsorship application once her visa gets expired.

Hello po,

Im not sure if this is the right thread. Naka study permit po ako ngayon. Inapply ko asawa ko ng spousal open work permit last April 2016. Pinagtataka ko po, sa CIC approved nah yung application but wala namang additional instruction or message. Sabi ng CIC agent nung tumawag ako sa hotline, sa manila daw ako mag follow up. I don't know what to do from here. I have emailed CEM, wala pang sagot.
