Hello i have some question here for Parents sponsorship.

sept 2011 docs to immigration canada
apr 2016 additional documents
-still waiting for updates

Why there are some applications that was sent on 2014 and they got the application approved. Is there any difference from.2011 and 2014?

Another thing is since we waited for so long is it ok to bring my parents with supervisa and incase the permanent resident arrive is it possible can do the medical exam here in Canada? Its too much money of the have to come in and out of the country. I really need a good advice from the expertise.

Thank you so much!

Hello! Hindi po ako expert, pero nakarating ako sa Canada as dependent ng nanay ko na inisponsor via parent sponsorship, so I can answer your questions.

As far as I know, pag parents and iniisponsor talagang mas matagal ang process. Sa spousal sponsorship, usually 8 to 10 months pag complete and straightforward and application, makukuha na ang visa. Nung time namin sa parent sponsorship, we waited 4 to 5 years din. And yes, I believe okay lang pumasok ang parents mo na naka supervisa. My mom was in Canada on vacation din when we got the medical request.

Hi Survivor27!

Additional doc requested is the NSO Advisory on Marriages (AOM).

If I'm not mistaken it was "Cenomar" written in the requirements. Since i'm already married i thought i don't need to request for one. I didn't realize it has a counter part which is the AOM. When you apply for cenomar but you're married - NSO will automatically give you the AOM. Hope this helps! :)

Thanks Mrs T! Yeah, am aware of the AOM that is still being requested. I haven't requested yet from PSA (then, NSO). I actually still have our original CENOMAR and plan on sending it as one of the supporting documents when we submit our application. But just to be safe, I will still obtain AOM and hoping by the time our application is sent, CIC will be satisfied enough with all of the supporting documents we plan on sending along with the application :)

They only require the AOM. No need to submit the cenomar since the AOM will show that you are only married once (it will also bare the name of your spouse). But i think there's no harm if you want to include the original cenomar as additional supporting document. We do have lots of pictures though, also remittances, and joint account cert as additional proof. Good luck on your application! :)

Congratulations, acfajardo! Looks like you have a straightforward application. Took only about 8 months for you. Happy for you. Sana ganyan din sa min once ma-file na namin, or even faster :)

Thanks Survivor27! Just make sure everything's complete as much as possible. After that, pray. God's timing is always perfect. If ever you have additional documents, pass it right away when they request it para di madelay. Best of luck! Matatapos din tayo lahat :)

May nag PPR na po ba na month of December?

Question po, pag ang sponsor ba eh Pinoy but already Canadian Citizen, hinihingan pa ba or need pa magpasa ng Birth Certificate? If it is, kelangan ba PSA copy? Sana po may makasagot. Thanks! :)

Thank you.
