NoobSaibot said:Hello. I just wanted to clarify this CFO seminar. What exactly is this seminar that should be attended prior to departure? Will the Visa Office require us to attend this seminar once we receive our visas? Do we need to pay for the seminar? If so, I think it is wrong of them to charge us a fee for this and hold us from leaving the country all because we didn't get a sticker on our passports. The government is making a business out of this and taking advantage of our situation.
I agree!
Hi xa,xabibella said:In my case, it was around 2 weeks
hey Kalie, malapit na yan! Actually mga 7 months from when my ECAS status changed to "In Process" bago ako nag PPR, ang tagal! And there were other July/August applicants who had theirs before mine lol nag-email ako once and they just replied with a generic email that said my application was still within processing time but I did request for GCMS notes twice kaya mejo confident ako dun sa application namin since nakalagay dun sa eligibility namin is "recommend passed". sobrang tagal lang talaga nun waiting time hahaKalie said:Hi xa,
How are you? Alam mo same tayo ng span of time when it comes to processing though june ka and ako naman october. You've waited for 6mnths for the PPR no? Ako pang 5mnths na this month. Dati ba while you're waiting na try mo mg email sa MVO kung buhay pa ba application mo? Haha

And yep, GCMS notes take about 30 days so malamang may ppr ka na before dumating sa yo hahaKalie said:Hnd ako ng order ng GCMS notes bka kasi makulitan. D kaya? Yong gagawa ka online account daw where you can see your status in detailed. Haha pg dating sa Manila its Dec 9 then Dec 16 in process na. Sana nga mg PPR nko this month.
Huhu sana nga no? Please pray for me and all of us. I'm on my phone but I'll try to answer your questions as best as I can (I will just clarify when I get home later on my computer)Mrs. Mekeni said:We'll be submitting our application na finally this week, but I wanted to ask a few questions from people here especially yung mga PPR na or landed na. Ito background: ako yung sponsor. We have a daughter who's a Canadian citizen. Her daddy and I got married in January. Madami naman kaming proof of relationship and all, I just have a few clarifications. Some of these questions have been asked before but I didn't find any answers. Here goes:
1. Kailangan pa ba ng MMR vaccine? Nung time na ako ang sinisponsor required yun, pero dependent ako sa family class and we didn't do the medicals upfront. My husband did his upfront but he was told to wait for more requirements. Gusto ko sana lahat isubmit na para walang delays, so kung pwede na magpa vaccine, I will ask him to go back to get it done na.
2. Do I need to submit my daughter's original birth certificate? All dependents daw kasi, pero si baby namin naman di na kailangan isponsor now or ever so medyo unclear to sakin.
3. Natanong ko na to a few times pero tatanong ko ulit since nafill out ko na ang forms completely this time. Kailangan ba talaga lagyan ng N/A lahat ng questions that don't apply to us? Some forms kasi don't let us do this from the computer. So should we write N/A sa fields after printing na lang?
4. Is it necessary to write a cover letter? O straightforward application lang with the checklist and forms and required documents?
I may be overthinking pero I wanna be sure bago magsubmit para no delays hehe.
I'm gonna pay na rin today and print the receipt. I'm gonna include everything na that my husband sent me (signed forms, proof of medical, 9 photos) to avoid any delays. And then I can finally post my timeline. Mga 1 year din ako nagbabasa dito and this forum has been really helpful. God bless everyone and good luck sa applications nating lahat![]()
