I'm January 2016 applicant, Here's my update until now wala pa new update for my application.
pero may nag-email na sa husband ko na he have met the requirements as sponsor.

Saan po ba sila magpapadala ng letter for me kapag may update about sa additionial documents or passport request, sa Email ng husband ko, email ko or thru regular mail na dumadaan sa post office?

I remember nung nag-apply din kami ng husband ko.. Kapag ina-update ako ng CEM is thru email ng husband ko pero naka-CC (carbon copy) ako.. so lahat ng email sa husband ko from CEM, narereceived ko din..

I was asked to provide a police certificate from another country (which I was able to acquire just recently) since I lived there for more than 6 months. No other additional documents were asked to be submitted, well, for now at least.

After this, what happens next to our application, and how long will it take to hear from the Visa Office again?

Question lang, sino dapat mag submit ng Cenomar? I mean, single or married applicant kailangan ba mag submit nito?

My wife in Cebu has most of her paperwork completed. Her NBI certificate is under her maiden name -- but her passport is under her married name. Does she need to get a NBI certificate in her married name. The certificate has "husband's surname" as my name (same as name on passport). The NBI certificate is valid till November 2016. Will that be an issue - we plan on submitting our application in Mississauga office late May 2016. Is this going to be a problem.

I don't think you need to obtain another NBI, I also have my husband's surname on my NBI and I think that women's maiden name would always appear on the NBI clearance as it is their basis to check if there's any derogatory record.

Yes. single or married kelangan.. Gusto lang nila malaman na kung single ka talaga at kung married naman ay kung wala kang previous marriage

Did anyone posted about the processing times on CIC site recently?

We are now down to 13months from the 17months processing time! AMAZING! I know na madaming natatapos in less than a year pero it's a big help na even ang CIC ni-reduced na ang maximum processing time and it's even country specific now. HURRAY!

Hello! PR will arrive within 2 months, could be quicker.
And yes, he can fly back to Pinas once he gets his PR. Same case tayo, he got his PR last July and he cane back right after to marry me

Hi All,

Pwede po magtanong, ofw po ako fr Singapore and I am back here sa Pinas po para asikasuhin ang NBI clearance ko personally. Last 2010 year ang kauna unahang nbi that I got para po sa passport applctn ko dati. Hanggang ngayon po ay single pa din passport civil status ko dahil ayon po kay hubby not necessary mag change status at pport daw po kase kahit sa canada na daw ayusin ang passport officially. Ngayon lang po kase ako kukuha ng nbi to submit follow up pano po kaya un single pa din gagamitin ko based sa record? kase i've been away for almost 5yrs na sa Pinas at ngyon ko lang ulit kakailanganin ang nbi clearance for the sponsorship ....
