Is that true? :o everytime CEM email the consultant will charge the client? Thank you so much for the information. The reason that we are planning to hire a consultant is we do not want to be refused again, our first application as married was refused dec2014, our marriage nov2012 while his (my sponsor) divorce date june2013, CEM said he was the spouse of another person at the time of our marriage. Anyway, I am starting to gather the required documents.
If you plan to get help its better to get an expert immigration llawyer not a consultant.. There is a a topic here about appealing for an application that are denied. Find them and ask some views to them.. Good luck dear...

Hi everyone..
I would like to ask ...
Is there a chance to get approve for PR even
You had charged of 2 crimes but later on was permanently dismissed?
What will be the chance on this kind of situation?
What will happen if I answered no to question of been charged..put in jail...been detained...or been charged in background declarion ? Then I am planning to apply for visitor visa and there have same question again.that I answered no...
What should I do? Should I wait for a letter or feedback from cic or do I have to do it now and dont wait for it?

By the way my application was sent here in manila this feb 2016..its been more than a month then..
What will happen next...

Any advice will highly apprecaite.

I mean..do I have to correct my answer before I apply for visitor visa?
Do I have to wait for cic feedback regarding on that matter or do it now..make the answer correct..
Send an explanation letter and updated form to cic and then apply for visitor visa?

What next will be happen or what will I recieve while processing my application here in manila?

If the cic have check already my application and they see my answer no to that question and see all my court documents and clearances.. they should email me and ask me for explanation why I answered no when I got charged of crime?

Hi Everyone!

This is a re-post from a thread I created when I was unaware of this one existing.

I was wondering if any of you could share the processing timeline involved when you sponsored your spouse from the Philippines if you've applied within the last few months. I want to get an idea of the rate at which spousal applications are being processed in Manila. I currently helped a friend sponsor his wife from the Philippines.
This is what has happened so far:

1) CIC received application on March 11, 2016
2) Letter received confirming eligibility as a sponsor & application sent to Manila on April 15, 2016

Thank you in advance for sharing

Expect 8-10 months for the whole process through Manila for a routine case, longer if there are a high number of red flags.

hi! I'm newbie here. We already submitted requirements and done with our medical. Under po kami ng family class spinsorship, ako naman po under ng class b dependant. I already graduated na po ng college last year, and I took another course to study kase sabi daw po kailangan student at dependant pa din sa magulang. Classified po ba yung Masteral as full time student?

You need to apply for criminal rehabilitation with your sponsorship application kc kpag natrace ng cic about your previous charges it will be a big problem

Pahelp naman po..

Were on the conjugal partner category and as per my GCMS note. "relationship as per info on file: met"

our application is now in Manila office. showing "review required" status in Eligibility check.

Is there anyone knows or have idea on what's this "review required" status meant.
what are the things being check during eligibility check or what is being done during this check.
