Hello everyone, I am glad I found this thread for Manila VO applicants! I am a newbie here. This is my first post since my husband and I are still planning to apply for spousal sponsorship.. I would like to ask some questions and advise po.

1. Am I allowed to sponsor my husband, because it hasn't been a year since I landed as PR in Canada? (I landed June 2015)

2. Will I be able to sponsor my husband, even if I cannot show a full 12month pay stubs (Just started working Aug 2015)

3. Is it true that there is no Income Bracket that applies when sponsoring a spouse? ( I have minimum/low income)

4. Currently I am on Maternity Leave because I delivered our child here.

Your answers and inputs will be much appreciated po!

Sabi nga daw no required income bracket to sponsor. Better you search on the website about PR. San ka sa Canada? Sponsor ko naman retired na pero nag aayos din kami ng app.

Di pa ako nagpa medical, last yan sa mga kukunin na requirements kase dyan nila binabase yung visa eh kung kelan nila ibibigay Nag search ka na ba sa http://www.canadainternational.gc.ca/philippines/index.aspx?lang=eng&view=d andyan yung details about app. Saan ka sa Canada? Sponsor ko sa Fox, Creek, Alberta 8)

Ok po, sbagay po better po na panghuli na kunin ung medical. Sa British Columbia po ako. Yap chineck ko din yung page. Rene reroute din po sa cic na website wen i clicked the family sponsorship.

Yes meron po... July applicant po kami.. My hubby got his visa last month lang.. His visa is only valid till may so I booked his flight first week ng may papuntang Winnipeg..

Could this be a red flag?

I met my husband July2014 thru a common friend. During that time, parehas kaming OFW so walang chance na magmeet. Nagkaroon lang kami ng chance magmeet nung natapos nya ang contract nya abroad and nakapag settle na ko dito sa Canada. We decided to meet Dec2015 but the communication was consistent since the first day we talk online. We decided to get married Feb2016 (45 days after meeting in person). Hindi naman kase ako pwede magpabalik balik ng Pilipinas sa mahal ng pamasahe. Corny man, pero may magic talaga and we are compatible in so many ways - physically, status in life, same age, and many more,

I dont think its gonna be a red flag. Just explain everything.. Just prove the genuinity of your relationship. Send as much conversation, pictures and evidences from each family side pictures that you met his relatives.
