here's my timeline:

May 07, 2015: Upfront Medical
June 12, 2015: Application Filed
August 20,2015: Application received
October 15, 2015: Sponsor Approval
October 19, 2015: Application Forwarded to manila
October 20, 2015: Additional documents requested
November 16, 2015: Additional documents sent thru LBC
In process...

still no Updates since then.
is there any updates sa mga august applicants? PP request? or update on e-cas saying: medical recieved? kc skin wala

Hello good day, im hoping im in the right topic to try to get some help.
My situation is that im currently in qatar, my partner is in canada. We are in the process of applying together as common law to become PRs in canada. Now she had declared me(partner in qatar)as her beneficiary and so did i as my beneficiary. Through life insurance. This took place when i went home yo the philippines(dec2014).

Now just this sept2015 i tried to apply for visa visit with the help of my cousin who is already a PR in canada. No where in my application was an option to declare her as my common law.

Unfortunately i was denied due to financial support and close family ties.

So my question is now we are to lodge our papers would the part of not declaring her in my try for visit visa affect our application?

Hope someone could shade some light on our situation..

What is her status is canada? Is she a citizen or PR? Did she declare you as her common law partner before she entered Canada? If not then applying as common law may not be a good idea.

Thank u for responding 2 my inquiry..

She is neither a citizen nor a pr yet..she came 2 canada as an ofw..when she got there, she tried to apply for express entry but was short on some point so we decided 2gther with advice from a consultant n canada 2 go for common law rather than single. She added me n her tax form.

Now that her contract is ending we are planning 2file 2gther..but what bothers me is the part when i tried to apply for visit visa, i was denied and my marital status on the application was single will it will affect us both..

I'm landed as PR na po...kaso huli ko nlng na realize na wala pong middle name ang CoPR ko...ok lng po kaya yun?..what if i will having trips outside Canada pag gamit ko PR card ko wala syang middle name...

ok lang yan.. they don't really care sa middle name.. i mean it is important too, but not really.. ok lang dito kahit walang middle name.. pero alam nman nila na my middle name ka.. kasi un ung nkalagay dun sa mga documents na pinasa mo db?! so you don't have to worry about it.

it's IMM5491.. IMM5443 ay para dun sa mga nagsponso na nasa Canada din ang ini'sponsor.. along with IMM5491 ay dpat isubmit nyo din ung IMM3905(country specific instructions)..

Hi bushgirl, I am new here but noticed we have almost the exact same timeline. Here's mine:

App. Rec'd: 06/12/2015
SA: 08/13/2015
Add'l Docs Request: 09/03/2015;
Add'l Docs Submitted: 10/01/2015

ECAS status has been "In Process" for a while now, though I'm not sure since when because I hadn't been religiously checking it before. Haven't heard anything from CIC or the Manila VO since I submitted the additional docs they requested. I tried asking by email whether the docs were received, but got the standard robotic response. Apart from that, it's been radio silence, so I'm hoping we could keep each other updated here just so we know if there's any developments at all.

Does this mean that I passed the Medical???

Pero wala din kami nrcv na AOR2 or letter stating na nsa Manila na ung papers namin. Last email na nrcv namin is ung Approval as a sponsor. Sana maka receive na tayo ng passport request.
