hello everyone,

i jaz noticed na ung iba nag undergo ng interview sa embassy while others are not...my question are: what are the reasons why the embassy requires interview? to prove them, the spontaneity of our answers in the application?? and what are the common questions they ask during the interview?? just to be prepared when my time comes...:) thanks a lot in advance...Godbless to everyone here... ;)

Hi frappii,

Medyo magkalapit ang timeline natin... tanong ko lang... hindi kc ako nakapag submit ng advisory on marriages, nanghingi ba sila sa iyo or kasama ito sa application mo? di ko kc alam na kailangan ng advisory on marriages...
Yup, batchmates tayo :) sorry but my partner and I didn't get married so AOM isn't really applicable to us. Sa conjugal sponsorship category kame. My partner submitted CENOMAR, though. Hope someone from this thread can help you with your concern. Good luck to us!

Most of the time they ask for an interview if they're not convinced that your relationship is genuine. This is usually the last step before denial/approval. If you pass the interview, you get approved. If you fail... sad to say but they will refuse your application OR if you're lucky, they will ask you to do another interview. Most people do not require an interview because they've fully convinced the Immigration Officer that their relationship is genuine. So if you provided a strong proof of relationship, then there's nothing to worry about. :)

Good Luck!!

there was a thorough discussion about AOM(Advisory of Marriages) by fellow members. if you can just scroll and check old posting this October on this thread you will get the idea.

talagang na specify sa document checklist ng Country specific instructions-Philippines ang AOM requirement:

IDENTITY AND CIVIL STATUS DOCUMENTS
1) For the Philippines
The following original documents are required for you (principal applicant, regardless of age) and for each of your dependent children, if applicable:
•Birth Certificate
•Marriage Certificate
•Death Certificate
•No record of marriage (CENOMAR) or Advisory on marriages
These documents must be issued by the National Statistics Office (NSO) and printed on NSO paper.

You can request the AOM because they may request it later.

Thanks. So it's either CENOMAR or Advisory on Marriages. I had an original copy of CENOMAR in my application, I've read in other posts that they were asked to submit Advisory on marriages althought they have CENOMAR in their application.

I already requested AOM in case they ask for it later. Nakaka-inip maghintay!

Tanong po...

Pano po ba pagka DM na. Gano katagal pag aantay bago mareceive ang visa? And pano po niyo marereceive? Tatawag po sa ang embassy sa inyo o ang DHL na for pick up? Tatawagan ka ba o mamakareceive ka ng letter for approval?

Salamat po... :)
