Hello everyone :) gusto ko lang po magtanong kung mandatory po ba na mag attend sa COA seminar? Thank you

You dont need to have a visa kung lay over lang naman sa korea or japan or any other countries requiring one.

Just wondering I've been checking the Manila visa post everyday in this forum and I haven't seen a single DM in months...

What I see is a lot of Applicants sending their passport, and getting stuck with that process. Please prove me wrong.

nope.. its not mandatory.. kasi nung nakareceived ng email ang husband ko about it, nklagay sa email na kung nasa canada ka na or nkaattend ka na, disregard nlang ung email.. ang mandatory is ung PDOS and GCP (for applicants whose spouse os foreign national)..

I've noticed that too... From Jan - May 2015 applicants... But starting from June, we have no PPR...

any july applicant update here? October 1 Started To process the PR and until now still no update aside from medical recieved. Nakakainip magantay hehehe but still think positive nalang :D

Heyyo,

So I have a few questions... I was looking at the 3905e.pdf on the cic gc ca website...

and it says that I can submit both her Permanent Resident application and my sponsorship application to Mississauga... so I'm still working on preparing everything but I have a few questions.

  • For part 14 for Photos of family... is that of her relatives, my relatives or our "family" which is currently just her and I? Also, is that nine copies of the same photo or nine different photos?
  • Same for medical examination... when it says of the family is it just hers or her relatives (parents, etc)

For the photos. It's just from the Principal Applicant(sponsored). If anyone is accompanying the applicant like kids then they too need the photos. All 9 copies of photos are the same.

Same with medical.

GCP po is seminar for those spouse are foreign nationals. GCP is required before leaving the country and before changing your last name sa passport if your husband is foreign nationals (required po sa DFA). Kailangan mo lang pong magpaappointment kasi may slots lang po per day. Sa seminar they will disscuss po about the country na pupuntahan mo, what people you might encounter, kung anong ugali nla na kaiba sa ugaling pinoy, some of the rules and regulations will be disscuss, etc. then may one on one interview po un base on the forms na finillupan mo questions are about you and your partner/husband para malaman nila na ready ka na and/or genuine ang relationship nyo and you are not under human trafficking.

In my case i attended GCP kasi nagchange ako ng last name sa passport and good thing kapag ok na ung visa ko babalik nalang ako sa kanila to get the sticker na ipapakita sa immigration sa airport, no more seminars na :) ...i hope it helps
