Well as many of you may know that election time is approaching. I sincerely hope the tyrant Mr. Harper is out of power.
Since they have been in power, there has been too many failures for a man that campaigned on accountability and transparency which is really ironic.
Their environmental policy has been a failure.
Their foreign policy has been a failure.
Their immigration policy has been much worst since the Liberals lost power.
The Mike Duffy scandal.
No respect for taxpayers money - over 1 Billion CAD dollars spent on G8 summit, some of which were funneled into their political ridings (i.e. Tony Clement)
Political interference with Supreme Court of Canada.
There is much more but I am concerned the canadavisa.com server may crash with data overload Wink

You can identify which political party has the best chance of defeating the conservatives in your riding by looking at the past election results from this link:

Select which province you are from in the first dropbox and you will see the listing of ridings in your province.
I located my riding in Oshawa, Ontario and noticed that for the past 4 elections, the Conservative won the riding but NDP had placed in second in those elections.
Hence, voting for NDP would be more effective than voting for Liberal in my riding.

And those that can vote I encourage you to exercise your right to vote (even if you want to vote Conservative).

Hello. Same lang din. Application Received on Feb 16 tsaka Medical Results have been received. Normally ba ano dapat ang nakalagay kung in process na? Nag email ako sa CEM nung Friday, sabi sa reply in process pa din daw ang application ni hubby.

Hello. When did you email CEM? Nag email ako sa kanila ng July 20 for a status update pero walang reply. Then, nagemail ulit ako Aug 14th then nagreply sila august 17th saying that my husband's application is still in process. Try to email them again. You might get an answer this time.

Yes In process na since Aug 7. Sana... Sana... Sana mag DM na before the end of this month. Ikaw din sana mag in process na soon... I'll keep you posted.

Hello Davio,

OFW ka rin ba? kung in Process ka na, DM na next nyan. kung OFW ka like me, ang nangyari sa akin nirequest yung passport ko via email tapos pinapasend dito sa SG kaso may isang member din kasi dito sa forum na andto xa last time sa SG pero sa pinas niya pinadala tapos after 5 days lang daw, nakuha na nya passport nya.

Pa-share nmn ng timeline mo.

nirequest sa akin yung additional documents last April tapos nag In process ako July 15. Depende cgro sa case pero after nyan mag In process na yan soon tapos DM na.

Almost mag 1month na pero application rcvd pa rin. Im thinking to email cem kung nrcvd nila ung appendix a. Ofw din husband ko..Thank u..

Thank you sa info. Kasi ang sabi ng CVAC sa akin dito 3-8 weeks pero di na ako aabot ng 4 weeks. Sana makuha ko na xa soon.

Ganito kasi nangyari sa timeline ko:

End April - additional docs request (appendix A, photos, NBI, Cenomar, Birth Cert)
Early May- Sent Appendix A, phtos and passport (passport kasi akala namin passsport na ung nirerequest kasi ang name ng file attached is "passport request - appendix A) Ngayon, hindi nmn napansin yung NBI Cenomar and birth cert
Mid June - emailed them ( di pa rin namin napansin NBI, cenomar, BC) then they told us na hindi nmn daw nla nirequest ung passport ko so binalik nla
Early July - dun ko lang napansin yung NBI, Cen & BC (taranta na kami kasi humingi na kami ng advise dto sa forum yun pala na overlook namin)
July 15 - In process (kahit wala pa yung additional docs)
July 31 - Additional docs sent
August - nag email na naman ako kasi hanggang Sept 23 nlng yung medical ko eh kailangan ko pa one month notice dto sa work ko
August 13 - PPR & VISA approved
August 14 - sent my passport sa CVAC dto sa Singapore

Status: patiently waiting for my passport to be returned pero VISA approved until September 23, 2015.

Hmmm, ganun ba. Kaloka naman kung hindi pa nila naumpisahan iprocess yung application ni husband hanggang ngayon. April 30 pa natransfer sa kanila ng CIC Mississauga ung application. Nov 25 expiration ng medical ni husband kaya mejo worried na ako. Ilang tulog na lang Sept na. But I'm still hoping and praying na may good news pa din this month.
