Hi. In my case the first and last email we received from manila was not exactly aor2 but a passport and appendix a request. It was only sent in my email. I am the applicant/sponsored person.

I read too that if your sponsor is a canadian citizen it may take little longer? Is that one of the factor? Cuz citizen po hubby Ko. Waiting for ur reply. Ty

Hi po!!! I'm also a February 2015 applicant and my hubby is a canadian citizen but I got PPR po last June 4, and they'd include my original passport. Hindi ako sure kung nagbabase sila kung citizen hubby mo, sana naman po hindi. Atsaka nag hire kami nang immigration consultant, kaya siguro mas madali.

Sana po PPR na rin kayo soon. Just think positive

i have a question. on CIC's website, it says they do updates on ECAS every tuesday, so if i check it on a tuesday & nothing changed, does that mean that i'll have to wait until the next tuesday?

please share your experiences, was there changes from your end on other days?

Hi there yes they do make updates every Tuesday but only on CIC here in Canada while your sponsor is still being assessed for approval but if your paper gets to MVO they don't make any updates on you ecas status.

Hi guys, my husband and i got married after 8 months of meeting. Would this be a problem in his application for permanent resident? We met at work april 2014 while my pr was still on process at that time in my previous company. I applied under the fswp program and became a pr august 2014. We got mArried last dec 2014. Also we have a different level of education, i have a degree while he took 2 years post secondary educ. I had a white collar job (in the philippines) while he had a blue collar job. Would this pose a red flag on our application.
