I read too that if your sponsor is a canadian citizen it may take little longer? Is that one of the factor? Cuz citizen po hubby Ko. Waiting for ur reply. Ty

i thought it's the other way, im from canada too & based from what i heard, they say the process is supposed to be quicker if the person sponsoring you is a canadian citizen. i dont have basis on this though, just hear say.

Nope, based on what I've seen so far the process is much faster if spouse is Filipino, naturalized Canadian. I think they see that relationships are more genuine and maybe less questionable?

oh im actually talking about those permanent residents who stayed for 3-4 yrs in canada then applied for citizenship. but what you said makes sense too..

Hi guys,

I already sent my passport and appendix A last June 25th and they got it the 26th.
Today I checked my ecas and status changed to "In Process"
When I click it, it says:

We started processing your application on July 17, 2015.

Waaah how long before they send the passport back and send Visa?

You applied in December? Most November to January applicants have been getting their visas shortly after PPR so i believe you should start packing your bags/boxes/luggages. God bless!

Hi i'm a newbie here I just had my upfront medical this morning sa st.luke's bocobo, all test were done except for xray pinadeferred ko kasi i'm 6mos pregnant. Ask ko lang sana Mafifile ba ni husband papers namin even without my xray? Ma aapprove ba Pag sponsor nya sakin?

Try nyo nalang isend kasi you have no choice naman at this point and if they wont accept it, they will let you know diba, so if i were you i'll send it anyway without the Xray then if they require it saka mo send pag meron na diba..

Yup they will send via email that the file has been transferred thats what I consider the AOR2

Hi! how long did you wait for your passport to be returned? I got ppr july 7, submitted it on july 9. Just got DM today on ecas. When should I expect it to arrive? thank u!
