It wouldnt be too late if you have the med exam done on may 13 as long as you email CEM a copy of the med exam receipt. Tell them due to unavoidable circumstances you didnt get to carry on the med exam until the 13th its all a matter of explaining. Also it only takes max of 2 weeks for the med results to be forwarded by the accredited hosp to CEM. Try st lukes global they are quite fast mine was forwarded a week after the date of examination.

Thank you mam Chrislyn. I also called both st. Lukes and IOM, and they said 13th May still OK and assuming no problems found sa bata.
Also, I was seeking help din sa ibang friend and they said I can ask/request for extension nga din daw and explain the current situation. Next question is
how do I send my letter of request for extension? Will it be thru:
a. Email
b. Snail Mail thru Manila Office
c. Online Enquiry (Case specific Enquiry)

Thank you so much for the help. I am happy for those Sept Applicant who are approved.

Hello. Notify mo lang ung CRA (Canada Revenue Agency) na married ka na. You can do it online or pwede mo din itawag sa call centre nila. I got married Dec 2014 sa US. Nagchange status ako from single to married nung end of Jan 2015. I sent the application to sponsor my spouse Feb 2015. Decision Made na status ng application ko as of April 16 then ung application ng spouse ko, finorward na daw sa Manila according to CIC. I hope this helps.

Kailangan ko po ng tulong...

Visa on hand na po ako.

Naka schedule na po ako for guidance and counseling program (CFO) on may 8th.
Yung flight ko po May 15th.

Habang inaayos ko yung requirements para sa GCP ko... I noticed yung sa marriage certificate na part
Kailangan daw NSO issued. ang marriage certificate Lang na Meron ako ay yung sa Canada.

I feel so stupid for not registering my marriage sa pinas kasi I thought enough na yung sa Canada. More than 1 year na po kami kasal.

Help :(

I have a similar question. I am a Canadian Citizen, got married to a Filipino husband in San Diego, CA. Sa Philippines naka based si husband, nagkita lang name sa US to get married. Yung sinend kong marriage certificate sa sponsorship application ko is the one issued in SD. Kailangan bang iregister ng husband ko ang marriage namin sa NSO sa Manila? I hope someone can shed some light. Thanks.

Hello everyone,

I emailed CEM 2 days ago to inform them of my change of contact no. (Sponsor) and I also took it as an opportunity to follow up my husband's application and I didn't expect that they'll reply. They said that my husband's application has been finalized and the result of the application will be sent to WWWExpress in the coming weeks... Is it positive or negative? They didn't say that they will send the visa instead they said that they will send the result of the application. Don't know what to feel if I'll be happy or be nervous of the result. Any comments? Thanks!

Any comments? If it's positive or negative?

Hi PMiicah you may call me chrislyn although for sure i am way older than you. If im not mistaken i also made a comment on one of your post in fb. All communication i made with CEM is thru case specific enquiry. They replied on my emails all of it coz i demanded that my application is past due and as stated on the website unless the application passed its normal processing time you may not get a reply. Mine was a liitle same as yours, the father of my kids did not sign the consent form so i had to wait til they get to majority age until i can sponsor them to come to Canada. I had no problem with the medical exams since my kids are in my full custody. I suggest you write them a letter thru specific case enquiry then have your kids med exam done. There was even a time i have passed due the 30 day marked they gave for the additional docs they needed but since i already submitted what they were asking for i emailed them and told them so. They must have lost my son's cenomar. They emailed me again extending the due date for another 15days. Theres no sense arguing with them so i resend my son's cenomar. After a feww weeks my application was finalized. It took us 18months. Hope this helps. Also its not true that the more you email them the more your application is put on hold. Youre mp doesnt what she/he is talking about.

Hi everyone! I just want your opinion re where to have my medical done? Which is better? St.Lukes MLA or IOM? I wanna know saan mas mabilis mag submit ng medical result. :) I hope you can share your good or bad experiences.

TIA! :)
