Hello. Do u guys what courier the embassy used to send the passport with visa? The officer told my husband that they wer gonna send it on tuesday last week but hubby hasnt received it yet. It's been a week. And as for the coa, isnt that optional? We just got the email today about that.

COA is not mandatory but very informative, yong GCP for immigrants and PDOS for OFW ang mandatory from CFO. WWE/DHL ang official courier ng visa from Canadian embassy sa pinas pero kapag walang DHL yong area nyo they will tap other courier. U can contact WWE 02-879-8888 press 6 for passport questions. Pa track nyo just tell them passport/visa from Canadian embassy

Yes, COA from IOM is just a FREE seminar provided by CIC. Yong galing po sa CFO na GCP or PDOS ang mandatory for pre departure immigration check.

The Canadian Orientation Abroad (COA) seminar is not mandatory; however it is provided free of charge by the Canadian Government and offers valuable information about settlement for newcomers to Canada. All immigrants and caregivers bound to Canada are strongly encouraged to avail the free orientation seminar. COA schedule for IMMIGRANTS- FEB 11, 2015 (WED) or FEB 16, 2015 (MON) 8AM, and for CAREGIVERS - FEB 17, 2015 (TUE) 8AM. My flight is on Friday na next week: Feb.13, I got my visa last Jan.30

Medical certificate nalang kulang ko because I am pregnant which I will get on Wednesday next week Feb.11 kc good for 7 days lang upon issuance ang medical certificate and form from PAL.

May email rin ako na receive from CIC about the COA from IOM kaya I texted them kaso tagal sumagot kaya tinawagan ko nalang landline phone ng office nila and yon nga I was told Hindi mandatory pero maganda daw yon na seminar sabi ng mga nka attend, kaso wala nko time to attend sa available schedule nila, sa Feb.11 kc prenatal check up ko rin. Very informative daw talga yong seminar.

Medyo nacoconfuse pa rin ako on what will be the very first step to do and what are the needed requirements to start the application.

Question: Can my wife do the medical exam kahit di pako nag-aapply to be a sponsor? What are the requirements needed for her medical?

nagpa sked ako kanina...ang reply ng IOM, March 5 is the next available slot. Hindi ko na rin yun mkukuha because i have to land not later than feb 25.
