Merry Christmas to all!!! :) ;D

Hi sis :) Kaka check ko lang ecas today ito ang nakita ko;

Permanent Residence
We received your application for permanent residence on November 21, 2013.

We started processing your application on December 22, 2014.

A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision.

Positive ba ito or negative? ??? I did informed them before na expired na medical ko, pero wala sila reply... :-[

Hello SAMANTALA!!! MERRY CHRISTMAS DIN!!!
hindi ka ba nkreceive ng email from them for your remedica? kc si husband we always inform CEM na mlpit na maexpired yung medical then suddenly they just extend for 10 days and requesting a new one. So good for you that they just keep your medical instead of doing a new one.

There still a few of us 2013 applicant na nghihintay pa rin. Hopefully ibigay na nila.

GOD IS GOOD, ALL THE TIME!!!!

Hi forummates!
I emailed CEM today and I received reply stating that:

Dear Applicant,

This refers to your application for permanent residence in Canada as member of the family class.

Please be advised that PR visa has been issued and will be delivered to your provided address within the next 2-3 weeks.

I emailed CEM because I've been waiting since December 12 - a decision made. I thought makakasama ko na asawa ko before christmas or new year eh hindi pa pala. Dibale at least good news, magaantay nga lang ng 2-3weeks. Sa mga nagaantay ng pp with visa at COPR, just wait lang or email CEM.

Merry Christmas to everyone.

Hi we almost have the same timeline, got dm the 12th too,.hope to receive news this week.

hi, i am new in this forum. i hope someone can give me some advice.
i came to winnipeg manitoba all by myself last january 2014 and after 4 months i returned to the philippines and got married to my long time partner. we had a simple civil wedding.. and our marrige certificate is under article 34 which states that we didnt require a marriage license since we were living together for 5 years. the problem is when i applied under mpnp, i didnt declare him as my common law partner which i had no idea that i should have. will that affect our application for spousal sponsorship? will we get questioned why i didnt disclose it during my application?

i would really appreciate any reply...

you might ask why i didnt include him as my dependent at the first place...
it's because my uncle who sponsored me didnt want to. they told me that they can only accomodate one person in their home. i am trying my best luck her in canada for a better future and i was thinking that i can easily get him when i am already stable and can live on our own.

Hello everyone! I need your help. I hope someone could answer my question. My husband and son got their VISA and COPR last Dec 24. Huray!!! I noticed that under my sons COPR its says spouse under my info as sponsor, looks like it was copied over from my husbands COPR. Does it mean that I am the spouse of the principal applicant or will this cause problems in the immigration? All other data is correct such as name, passpirt number and expiry, etc.
Thank you!

You're right. You are the spouse and the principal applicant is your husband.

Your situation is not a good one,
Immigration rules require that you declare him when you apply,
I have seen many cases like this and they walk directly to rejection..
I would advise you to talk with an immigration consultant,
That is your best option,
Otherwise your case is very difficult one.
You would be surprised to see how many case get denied,
Its heart breaking.

There is also a family in the news in Canada now who did not declare their son on the initial application and now the son is not able to join them in Canada. Sad but rules are rules I suppose. Everything needs to be declared on the application initially. I wish you much luck!
