Hi..... I am a Temporary Worker here in Alberta and my wife is a PR in Vancouver.. She wants to sponsor me to be a Permanent Resident.. She is pregnant and we want to live together as soon as possible but I cannot move to Vancouver until I have a PR.. SO we are applying for her to sponsor me. But I see now that it takes a long time processing here inside. Is it possible to send my application outside Canada even though I am already working here as a Temporary worker? Please Help..Thanks a Lot...

Yes, it takes longer if yours is "inland application", but recent changes will allow you to get an open working
permit while you wait....
At the end of the day, what you need is to be near your wife,
If you get the open working permit then, basically it doesn't matter
if its in land or out land application.
I would go for inland, given the recent changes.

Hi, wla akong natanggap sa email...dumating na lang knina passport namin ng anak ko thru DHL and naka indicate dun ang validity ng visa. . Have a merry xmas!

Yes tama ka sis as long as you can prove the genuineness of the relationship and may legal barrier tlaga and samahan din ng PRAYER. Conjugal kmi M/F then my dependant pa ako from previous marriage... Akala ko nun una ma deny ako kc di ako nag apply ng TRV and wla din kming mga property na nkapangalan sa aming dalawa ng partner ko... Special power of attorney lang. Then wla din kaming mga affidavit/statutory declarationfrom friends...only from close family (both sides)... I guess depende tlga sa visa officer na humahawak ng application. Cguro kahit wla kming ganun...sa ibang bagay niya kmi na assess ...base sa gcms notes namin our VO is satisfied that the relation is genuine and continuing. Wla ng hinanap pa sa amin na mga additional documents. And wla din interview. Very smooth tlga sis. Goodluck sa application mo... Merry xmas too!

MommyNQ...air21 un nagdeliver knina...affiliated ng DHL dito samin...actually nun 23 pa daw u. Kaso wla ako dito sa bahay..Bumalik lang nun umaga un nka motorcycle.

Your file is already over 16 months... have you approach your MP?

I've e-mailed cem last month informing them that my application have reached 15 months already, the standard processing time for manila visa office. But according to them the 15-month processing time started when they received my application here in manila (October 2013 according to them). I'm expecting some good news by january, otherwise i'm definitely seeking help from our mp...
