Sis it depends kung Pr or Citizen ang husband mo. Usually kpag Citizen ang husband they required them to attend seminar kpag mag-change of status and name sa passport so kpag nag VOH na cla sticker nlng ang kukunin nila, unlike PR na kelangan may visa ka muna bago umattend ng seminar.

Hi bored, i noticed dat also but unfortunately no visa yet.. So disappointed.. As i can remember i am the 2nd DM dis december, those who are DM last week finally have their visa..

I think we should not expect a lot by this time.. If ever cem has sent the visa, the problem by now is the courier.. According to one of the member in fb group, dhl will resume on the 29th..

Hi. Yes you can nman.you can get info sa site ng CFO. I have my cert from CFO.will have sticker once passport is back. Got DM the12th.till now no news.

I think i will not be allowed without pp, my husband is PR in canada, someone told me that you'll be allowed only if the spouse is citizen. And seminar will be different for pr and citizen..

Hi..... I am a Temporary Worker here in Alberta and my wife is a PR in Vancouver.. She wants to sponsor me to be a Permanent Resident.. She is pregnant and we want to live together as soon as possible but I cannot move to Vancouver until I have a PR.. SO we are applying for her to sponsor me. But I see now that it takes a long time processing here inside. Is it possible to send my application outside Canada even though I am already working here as a Temporary worker? Please Help..Thanks a Lot...

Hi forummates!
I emailed CEM today and I received reply stating that:

Dear Applicant,

This refers to your application for permanent residence in Canada as member of the family class.

Please be advised that PR visa has been issued and will be delivered to your provided address within the next 2-3 weeks.



I emailed CEM because I've been waiting since December 12 - a decision made. I thought makakasama ko na asawa ko before christmas or new year eh hindi pa pala. Dibale at least good news, magaantay nga lang ng 2-3weeks. Sa mga nagaantay ng pp with visa at COPR, just wait lang or email CEM.
